"Their High Chief is mad? That's good for us. They are easy to guide, and easier to crush," Vahn said.

Ezekiel then appeared before him with his usual soundless grace.

"Your majesty, the scouts already confirmed it. The Great Barbarian Union is trying to mobilize. But their tribes no longer trust one another. They are frightened of your rise."

Hearing him, a faint smirk formed on Vahn's lips.

"That's good. Fear makes them predictable."

Jargo nodded. "If we strike now, your majesty, their council will fracture before they can unite. The Union thrives on strength. If their strongest falls… the others will bow naturally."

Vahn turned his gaze on him.

"And you intend to help them fall? Your own kin?"

Jargo dropped to one knee.

"My life belongs to you now, your majesty. My tribe will follow. My people need cultivation, structure, and civilization. The Union cannot give it. Only you can."

His sincerity was engraved in his voice.

Lilith observed Vahn quietly.
