Chapter 21 - HUSBAND WHEREABOUTS

"Madam, you're not supposed to be here!"

When these thoughtless words that offend needlessly, which were coming from the mouth of her husband's bodyguard entered her ears, Shee Bah turned nuts and, angrily with a grimace of hate and rage responded:

"Excuse me! Where do you think am supposed to be? Home? Sitting on the couch like a Teddy! Because what? Because I am the foolish and tolerant one here?"

Under the evening moonlight, in the rough grip of Angie's security guards, Shee Bah then busted wildly out of control, swinging her hands to get loose on bloodspot eyes.

"Take your filthy hands off me! You crazy scumbags!"

The two security guards were strong enough for Shee Bah to slip away from their tight grip just like that. And instead, amidst the ruckus, the motorbike helmet swang out of her hand, down to the ground, and fell a wide margin away. Hence loosing hold of the only tool she had to hit them with at the moment.

Her husband's bodyguard was on the side, watching the show clearly. He seemed to think that they were going to end up hurting her in the process.

Without directly sabotaging Angie's security guards to perform their obligated duties, her husband's bodyguard took a few steps upto where the helmet stopped when it was rolling on the ground after it left her hands. Calmly, he bent over and picked it up.

And with a hidden intention of protecting her from any kind of possible uncertainties, he told the two security guards:

"Hey, take it easy on her. She's pregnant for heaven's sake!"

After all, him being Madrat's personal bodyguard, he knew some secrets.

To Angie's security guards, Shee Bah was just any ordinary young lady; perhaps a fan of Angie who might be angry with her for some personal reasons, who knows where Angie resides and now she's here trying to demand justice from a high class celebrity like Angie.

One of the security guards turned to him:

"This is non of your business Gekko. Keep out!"

It was Gekko's responsibility to ensure his boss' wife's safety as well.

"Her being Madrat's wife, makes it fully my business brothers."

When Angie's security guard heard this, out of concern, and to avoid unwanted damages, they decided to put Shee Bah down, taking their hands off her immediately.

And as soon as she stood her feet firmly on the ground, her emotions arose. Mumbling, she quarrelled on bloodspot eyes at them, while she walked on to go beyond where she was restricted to go in the first place.

"Your moms never taught you how to treat a female!? Or, I resemble those lifts in a gym, carrying me off the ground like a disposable useless waste!"

After all, she now had her own security in her husband's bodyguard, Gekko.

"We wont touch you again. Either way we can not grant you permission without an appointment. Sorry."

Gekko, knowing that this wasn't his territory of operation, came forward to talk to Angie's security guards to terms.

"Brothers, am not supposed to poke my nose in how you execute your duties, but hear me out. No one needs to be affected."

He requested:

"Let me talk to her for a second. I promise it will all be safe waters if you allow me to handle it from here."

Gazing at eachother, Angie's security guards excused themselves to create space.

In a small voice, Gekko got Shee Bah on the side.

"Like I said earlier, I didn't expect to see you here. It's not safe!"

"If my husband is here, then I have any damn reasons to be here too. I think you should let him say that to me.

Seeing her nervous gesture from a short distance, Angie's security guards asked aloud:

"Is everything okay?"

Gekko lifted his palm in their direction and quirked corners of his mouth with a glance to imply that all was under control.

Shee Bah said to Gekko:

"I need to see my husband. Am I so foolish a woman he can lie to any how? He couldn't even stand on his promise!"

In gentle kindness Gekko asked her to calm down:

"Shee Bah!"

He added:

"Okay, you know what? Why don't you give me a little time to work something out?"

And still, the favorable option at the moment was to leave the situation in Gekko's hands if at all she needed access to her husband as she was claiming. So, Gekko turned his way to face the security guards who were a small distance from where he was with Shee Bah.

They paid attention to him.

"Shee Bah doesn't have an appointment with Angie, but Madrat won't like it to hear that his wife came and you mistreated her, without even allowing her to see him.

Indirectly creating some tension, he added:

"Don't forget she's pregnant. You know what it means."

Silently, the security guards thought through for a second. As they were still undecided, when she glanced up from her shoe, she saw them gazing at her.

Already with initial anger from turning down her dinner after setting the table with higher expectations, Shee Bah was too furious with every Tom Dick and Harry that crossed her way by that time. All that was on her mind was to face her husband.

After all, at this dark time of the night, Madrat was supposed to be home.

They gazed, she wondered. Shee Bah came to meet Gekko and the two security guards.

Who in the city doesn't know the young diva with the hottest album on chats all over right now? Of course, Angie's security guards too could now recognize Shee Bah as soon as Madrat's bodyguard mentioned her name. Her music is playing everywhere and they are among the fans. And seeing her for the first time was a blessing in disguise.

Teaming up together, humbling themselves, they pulled up infront of her, leaving Madrat's bodyguard on the side looking at them, with no idea about their intention.

"Excuse us, um... we didn't start off well but um..., we couldn't have done that?"

"Done what?"

Another guard took part too in answering:

"Treated you harshly in the first place." "True spirit." "Shee Bah find a place in your heart to for give us." "Please... From the very bottom of our hearts, we beg of you."

Then one security guard, on bloodspot eyes said with captivating emotions:

"Truth be told, the mother to my kids had left me after a big misunderstanding. Two weeks later, she returned saying; if not for your song that came in on her playlist, the family we had built with a lot of sacrifices for so many years was forever gone."

He added with a humble gesture:

"Who am I to harass you! Am so sorry."

Having drowned in too much anger, Shee Bah took their apology lightly at first. Cold and arrogantly:

"What makes you think that I care?"

Having heard their mind, immediately Gekko stepped in between, from a side where he'd be listening from.

"Shee Bah, don't let anger drive you. I guess, now is the time for you to testify that a talent moves the strongest mountains."

Politely and respectful he pleaded with her:

"Now that you desperately need to meet your husband, see how heavens are simplifying it all in your favor. Relax!"

Quirking her eye brows and one corner of the mouth, after listening to Gekko's cautious words, with a little arrogance from anger and disappointment though:

"Your boss Angie is playing undercovers with my husband! Am I wrong standing up for my own marriage?"

Nothing had they to give for an answer at this particular juncture since they were starstruck already.

So, having nothing to be intimidated about, at this very moment, Shee Bah turned her gaze from them to looking in a distance at Angie's duplex apartment. She can't forget the actual reason she rode a motorbike all the way from home here.

Hence went ahead to cross the yard, so she can find her way to the duplex apartment in which Angie stayed.

A moderate gap from behind, escorting her to the stand alone duplex set up in a very wealth neighborhood, was definitely the only option left for Gekko and Angie's two guards.
