Seeing the amount of EPs, Ethan chuckled.

Meanwhile, everyone in the hall stared at him as if they had just seen a ghost.

Their eyes were wide with disbelief, their mouths slightly agape. The silence that followed was deafening.

Ethan turned his head from the system panel and calmly looked at the hotel owner.

"From this moment on, I'm the new owner of this hotel. Get the paperwork ready. Now."

The owner's jaw dropped.

But Ethan didn't wait for a reply.

He slowly turned toward Liam and the five security guards who had been beating him just minutes ago.

"You five… Do you work under the hotel? Or under the manager?" He narrowed his eyes. "Or should I say… the former manager?"

A wave of panic washed over Liam. Beads of sweat rolled down his face like he was a leaking faucet.

"Who the hell is this lunatic?! Spending 200 billion like it's pocket change? Even the richest man alive wouldn't dare act this recklessly!" he screamed internally, barely holding his composure.

One of the guards finally spoke, bowing slightly. "We work for the hotel, sir."

Their tone had shifted completely, no longer arrogant, but filled with respect. After what they had just witnessed, they weren't about to cross this man again.

"You." Ethan pointed at one of them. "Come here."

The guard hurried over, and Ethan leaned in, whispering something in his ear.

As soon as he finished, the guard ran outside without another word.

Liam's heart sank.

Something was coming. Something bad.

Billy and Sean, his two lackeys, looked pale as well. Their confidence and smirk had long since vanished.

Then Ethan pointed to the remaining four guards.

"Him, him, and him," Ethan said, pointing at Liam, Billy, and Sean in turn. "Do to them what they did to me. Beat the shit out of them."

Before Ethan even finished, Billy and Sean made a desperate attempt to flee.

But....

Too late.

Two guards jumped them from behind and began throwing punches without mercy. It was like they were trying to win back their honor by impressing Ethan. Each hit was more brutal than the last.

ARGGHH! AARGHH!!

Their screams echoed throughout the dining hall.

Liam, meanwhile, tried to resist, but the two guards who grabbed him were no pushovers. Within seconds, he was on the ground, grunting in pain.

The once-luxurious dining hall was now in chaos.

BAM! BAM! ARRGHH! ARRGHH!

The owner wasn't being beaten but he was trembling in fear.

And the guests?

"Holy crap… Who even is this guy?! He just bought the hotel for 200 billion like it was pocket money!"

"I know, right? How come we've never heard of him before?"

Some of the ladies in the dining hall now looked at Ethan with shining eyes.

Though his clothes were simple, his looks were striking, and now, with the aura of wealth and power surrounding him… who wouldn't be tempted?

Alice, standing beside him, could sense the shift in atmosphere.

"I just hope nothing bad happens to Brother…" she thought nervously.

Soon, Liam and the others were subdued, groaning on the floor.

At that moment, the doors swung open.

Two men entered. One of them was the guard Ethan had sent earlier. He rushed up to Ethan and saluted respectfully.

"Sir. It's all arranged. They will be here within the next twenty minutes. Room 306."

Ethan nodded calmly. "Take these three fools there. And make sure they enjoy themselves... until evening."

"Yes, sir." The guard turned and quickly relayed Ethan's orders to the other security guards.

Without hesitation, Liam, Billy, and Sean were dragged away.

"You're making a huge mistake!" Liam screamed as he struggled. "Just because you've got money, don't think you can do anything! You'll face the consequences!"

But Ethan didn't even blink.

Under the stunned gazes of the entire hall, the three were hauled out like trash.

"What's he going to do to them?"

"I heard him say something about… enjoying themselves until evening."

"God… what's he planning?"

Whispers and murmurs rippled through the crowd like waves.

Just then, the second man who had come in approached the previous owner, handing him a set of documents.

Shakily, the owner walked up to Ethan. "T-The paperwork for the ownership transfer is ready… Mr. Ethan," he stammered, bowing deeply.

Ethan took the papers, flipping through them with calm eyes. Once he was satisfied, he looked up.

"You can leave now. And don't ever show your face here again."

"Yes… Mr. Ethan," the former owner said in a trembling voice. He bowed one last time and hurried away.

Once the dust settled, Ethan turned to look at Synthy.

"Miss Synthy," he said with a smile. "From now on, you'll be the manager of this hotel."

"What?!" Synthy gasped, her eyes going wide. "Manager?!"

Ethan nodded. "Yes."

She had shown genuine concern when no one else had, and Ethan was really moved by that.

Synthy was both shocked and thrilled, her voice trembling slightly. "Th-Thank you, sir."

"No 'sir' anymore. Just call me Ethan," he said casually. "And as the owner, I believe I can bend the hotel policy a little, right?"

"Sure si.... Ethan," she replied, still trying to process what just happened.

"Now, please arrange a private chamber for lunch. And join us."

Synthy's cheeks flushed slightly. "Right away!"

She led Ethan and Alice to a private chamber while quietly instructing a waiter to serve lunch immediately.

Ethan didn't want to sit under everyone's burning stares anymore after what happened just now.

Alice walked beside him, still dazed.

"He really… bought the hotel with 200 billion?" she thought, glancing at Ethan. "So what he said earlier… wasn't a joke? He really got 10 quadrillion?! But shouldn't he be more careful? 200 billion at once?! Who even does that?"

Her head spun as she followed him into the chamber, still trying to make sense of everything.

Meanwhile, Synthy could barely contain her emotions. She could practically hear the pounding of her own heartbeat. Who would have thought that after meeting a mysterious young man, she'd become the manager of the city's only 8-star hotel?

And Ethan? Even though his respect for Synthy had risen… he still couldn't take his eyes away from her bumpy back, rising and falling with every graceful step she took as she led the way.

"Shit. It's getting hard." Ethan cursed inwardly.
