The reporters kept asking endless questions, and Maya kept answering all of it
"What do you wish should be done?" she was asked
"Mr Lancaster's daughter said she is above the law, I want her to face the law" Maya coldly said, just then the principal stepped in begging Maya to leave the scene, she had already ruined their plan on not speaking to the press now things had turned chaotic.
Somehow the chaos had gone down everyone had returned to their classroom, gossips were on the air, travelling across the school, people even admired how brave Maya was.
"How come all of this was happening and you didn't even bother to tell me" Xavier asked, he was actually hurt she didn't tell him anything
"Ever since I came to this school you have been the person saving me Xavier, I owe you one but I'm not a damsel in distress, and I can handle my problems myself" Maya said with a soft smile
"I really admire how strong you are, I just hope Ariana doesn't end up leaking such photo out of rage" Xavier sighed
"It's been deleted" She said
"Wow you are a super woman, how did you get her to delete it" Xavier asked, he was so proud of her
"Adrian did it" Maya casually said, she could see as his face changed, he was obviously displeased
"Adrian knew about this, and I didn't?" he asked
"It's no big deal, Adrian was just kinda stuck in the middle.... Besides I have to talk to him.... Excuse me" Maya said as she got up and left, she wanted to go check up on him and also thank him. Xavier on the other hand was clearly jealous, he didn't get why Maya relied on Adrian for help and not him, he wondered how close both of them might have even gotten.

"How did you find me here?" Adrian asked dryly
"I figured you liked being in this old theatre room" Maya said as she calmly walked over to his side
"Why are you here?" he asked, his heads resting on his palm, he just kept his head down, Maya could sense how down and sad he was, she wondered why he was sad
"Everything worked, I bet you are no longer tangled with Ariana..... Thanks again for your help" Maya said
"Yh sure... Leave now" he said dryly, but instead Maya just sat there, she wanted to know what's wrong but she thought if she ask he wouldn't say, so she just sat next to him in silence, letting him know she was there for him if he needed a shoulder to cry
"I remember that day" he suddenly said
"What day?" Maya asked calmly
"I was drunk and you were there, why were you comforting me?" he said, he raised his head up looking at her, Maya was surprised he remembered, since he had been acting like he forgot, she didn't know what to say to him, she just stared into his eyes, it was so deep like an abyss, she couldn't decipher the emotions in his eyes
"Like I said we all have our own demons, and I knew you were just battling yours" she said
"How come you never use it against me, or think of me as a weakling?" he asked
"Adrian, despite what you are facing, you still wake up every morning and thrive, you wear your mask so well, who would believe that Adrian Cole is going through so much..... That fact alone shows how strong you are, you are able to fight it" She said, her voice was laced with emotions, it gave him a reassuring feeling of safety, he unimaginable felt save with her at that moment
"I wish you hadn't seen me like that" he said, shutting his eyes for a second
"It's okay Adrian, trust me you'll be fine, I promise" she said, then he just lets out a dry laugh, that seemed like she was talking rubbish
"You don't know that, I'm a horrible person in capable of loving someone or even being loved, people only respect me because of fear no one respects me because of love" he said
"I think you are a nice person, who can actually live and be loved only if you open your heart to it" Maya said with a smile, neither of them said anything again..... Slowly she drew near to him then she took a bold move, she wrapped her arm around his neck, pulling him into a hug. At first it was so awkward until a few seconds he wrapped his arm around her, embracing the comfort of her warm hug, to Adrian that moment it felt like another whole new feeling just awoke inside of him.
Suddenly Maya's phone rang, destroying the brief moment of peace in heaven, they both disentangled from the hug, realising the awkwardness all over again.
"Hello" Maya said as the line connected
"Where are you, you have to come see this" Xavier said from the other end of the phone
"OK I'll be there" Maya said as she disconnected the call, she just stared at Adrian who had already gotten up to leave without saying a word to her, she too decided to leave, maybe they'll talk about the awkward situation later on.

The school that was once calm had turned chaotic again for that day, the police was outside demanding to have Ariana taking into custody, Ariana was already panicking, although the principal had insisted on going with her, then let her parents know on their way to the station.
Kelly just stood from afar as she watched Ariana follow the officers into their car, they didn't cuff her in fact it was like she was being escorted, she was still shown respect, suddenly Kelly received a text from her
"Do something or else I swear you are next" It was a message from Ariana, Kelly immediately typed back
"Don't drag me into this, I have a good plan" Kelly typed back, she didn't know if Ariana received the message as she could see the officer taking away her phone
Maya and Xavier on the other hand just watched from the school roof top
"This is the perfect view to see a villain's downfall" Xavier teased and both of them just laughed
"We should have launch here before I'm called to testify at the station" Maya suggested
"Great idea, hey give me a second I got something" Xavier said as he rushed down to get it.
After a brief moment Maya felt someone else's presence, she turned around to see Kelly
"I'm so sorry Maya..... I really hate it that you two are so close" Kelly said, tears dripping down her face
"What are you saying?" Maya asked
"I'm sorry for what I did and what I'm about to do" Kelly said
"Kelly what exactly are you saying, stop speaking in riddles" Maya exclaims, suddenly Kelly rushes over to her pulling her in a tight hug, and then in just a brief second.... She pushed her with all her strength, sending Maya down from the school's roof top. Maya fell, she actually pushed her own friend down from a very high building
"I'm sorry I just can't stand you, besides not a lot of people will miss or mourn you" Kelly said, as she immediately ran downstairs.
