Coulson and Rogers shared a Quinjet en route to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier.
Throughout the journey, Coulson was stiff and excited—like a teenage girl meeting her idol."I have to say, it's an honor to meet you! Truly! Having you join us… I… I'm really honored!"
"I hope I won't let you down." Steve stared blankly at the ocean outside the window.
"You won't! You'll be great!"
The Quinjet slowly landed on the Helicarrier. Steve, Banner, and Natasha met for the first time.
"Dr. Banner."
"Captain Rogers."
Steve and Banner shook hands; their first impressions of each other were quite good.
Natasha interrupted their small talk."We should head in. Once this thing lifts off, breathing out here won't be possible."
As her voice fell, four turbine wings rose from both sides of the Helicarrier.
Banner gave a helpless smile."I thought they were planning to lock me underwater. This might be worse…"
Personnel on deck began walking toward the interior. As Steve passed a railing, he saw a young Asian agent taking photos. He kindly reminded him:
"You should head in soon! We're about to lift off!"
"Oh, I know." The young man replied casually.
Steve nodded and entered the ship.After he left, the "agent" glanced at his recently photographed images.
"Is this world rejecting me too? But… which world is this? I guess I'll have to put the Zero-One card aside for now."
Naturally, this flashy Asian "agent" was none other than Tsukasa Kadoya, who had entered the wrong universe again.
He let the blurry photos flutter away in the wind, then walked into the Helicarrier.
Steve had arrived in the command room early and handed over the ten-dollar bet, then wandered around the room admiring the advanced tech.
Nick Fury accepted the ten dollars, then turned to Banner with gratitude:
"Thank you for coming, Dr. Banner. Any suggestions on tracking the Tesseract?"
"I'll need all your spectrometers and a lab." Banner replied bluntly.
"Agent Romanoff, take Dr. Banner to his lab."
As Banner and Natasha left, they crossed paths with Tsukasa walking in. The three nodded politely. Natasha glanced at Tsukasa again, puzzled, but saw nothing unusual.
Tsukasa slung his camera over his shoulder, wandering around with big curious steps just like Steve had earlier.
Steve stood next to him."Impressive tech, right?"
"It's fine." Tsukasa replied lazily with his hands in his pockets.
Nick Fury's eye twitched watching the idle, carefree "agent," but couldn't scold him in front of Steve.
Fortunately, Coulson was truly Fury's "warm little jacket."
He went up to Steve and started chatting about the rare collectible Captain America trading cards—effectively pulling Steve's attention away.
Meanwhile, Tsukasa seemed tired of standing and casually walked to the main seat of the conference table… and sat down.
Fury glared, watching Tsukasa's arrogant posture in disbelief.He then said with a jab:
"Why is every other agent's shirt white, but yours is pink?"
"Magenta! It's magenta, not pink!" Tsukasa lifted his feet onto the desk.
Veins bulged on Fury's shiny bald head."What's your name? Your designation?"
"Oh, here."
Tsukasa searched around his body, then finally pulled out a S.H.I.E.L.D. ID from his suit pocket.He lifted it to eye level and read aloud:
"Tsukasa Kadoya. S.H.I.E.L.D. Level-5 Agent. ID number 9527. Hm. I see."
Just as Fury was about to explode, a technician interrupted:
"Director! We found Loki—he's in Germany!"
Fury steadied himself and looked at Steve."Captain, he's yours."
Steve nodded and left the command room.
When Fury turned back—Tsukasa was already gone."What?! Where is he?!"
Germany – Stuttgart, Hanover
Loki scanned the target's retina, allowing Hawkeye access to the iridium vault.
Once the mission was done, Loki changed into his robe. His short spear reverted back into the true form of the Scepter of Mind.
He struck the ground with it and roared:
"Kneel!"
The terrified crowd collapsed to their knees under his pressure.
"Yes… that's right. You humans were born like this. Filled with servility. Longing to be ruled."Loki spoke with wicked delight.
But an elderly man stood up."Not by someone like you."
"I am unique!"
"There are plenty like you—shameless."
Loki smirked and raised the scepter toward the old man.
"This is the price of defiance."
"Connect."
A bolt of blue energy shot through a golden magic circle—materializing behind Loki—and blasted him face-first into the ground.
The first to arrive was not the Avengers—but Zed.
S.H.I.E.L.D. needed global surveillance to find Loki, but Zed didn't.His retired Golden Eye System had found new employment—monitoring New York, London, Sokovia, and other high-risk zones. Loki appeared instantly on its radar.
"Hey, hey, Loki. Didn't I say this is my turf? And you want to be king here?"Zed, already fully transformed, walked toward Loki.
Loki got up, chuckling."You don't rule this world. Giving humans freedom? What a shameful waste. I can bring them peace."
He wasn't planning to fight Zed head on. His mission had priorities—stalling was enough.
Zed, of course, knew Loki's intentions. But Zed had his own plans.
"Peace? Humans don't need peace. Whether it's your so-called sheep pen or a utopian fantasy—both are pointless."
"What?" Loki frowned, confused.
"When there's an external enemy, humans unite. When there isn't, they kill each other. A species that lives eternally in conflict—now that's my kind of lifeform."Zed's tone was even more domineering and wild than Loki's.
Loki blinked."…Okay, you're crazier than I am."
