Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Twin-Fin Rays

Alex's mood instantly soured. He was having a good time farming monsters, but these two BOSS monsters disgusted him.

Furina seemed to sense Alex's state and comforted him: "They are very powerful, not something you can fight right now. You should practice more and then come back to get your revenge!"

Yes! I will definitely return.

For now, let's run!

Although the two legendary Twin-Fin Rays didn't pursue much once they were far away, Furina and Alex still ran a great distance.

Finally, Alex controlled himself, so to speak, firing a shot and then moving to a new location.

They stayed in the sea for about one or two hours, scattered here and there.

Furina started to feel tired and wanted to return to shore.

Alex was also a bit fatigued, nodding his head and following Furina back to the shore.

"Splash." Furina, almost at the surface, darted out of the water, then rolled onto the shore.

Alex, however, simply surfaced his head normally and slowly swam towards the shore.

"Do you want to learn our Fontaine's superb surfacing technique? I can teach you, you know~" Furina narrowed his eyes, seeing Alex take a long time to swim over.

"Alright, but I want to eat first. It must be afternoon now, and I'm a bit hungry." Alex nodded, looking at Furina in his wet state.

"Pop~" Furina reached out a hand, took off his hat, and then shook his hair. The wet state attached to his entire body and clothes slowly began to diminish.

Oh, so that's why it didn't fall off. The hat and Furina's head created pressure, so it stayed firmly on his head without falling off.

Speaking of hats, didn't I buy a hat and wear it before?

Alex reached up and touched his head—empty!

When did it get lost? Never mind, he wasn't really used to wearing a hat.

The hat he bought casually before wasn't worth much. He decided not to wear it anymore, after all, he hadn't seen many people in Fontaine usually wearing top hats.

It felt like only a minute or two had passed when Alex noticed that the wet state of his clothes had also disappeared, and his clothes were all dry.

Furina was the same and put his hat back on.

While swimming, and with the previous wet state, there really wasn't any benefit given at all!

Furina's clothes were still long-sleeved, and not transparent in the water, and he was also wearing shorts. The only thing visible were his two fair legs.

So Teyvat doesn't have swimsuits at all?

Alex shook his head inwardly, secretly deciding to find a way to promote them in the future.

Although Furina was unremarkable, there were still children's swimsuits that would fit him!

He really wanted to see! After all, no one could control him, let me see him in a swimsuit, what's wrong with that!

Finally, Alex looked around and surprisingly found a rare wild Pyro Slime not far away.

Isn't this just asking to be bullied??

Alex waved his right hand, and a half-leg-high Hydro sphere creature appeared in front of him.

This Hydro sphere summon was completely different from a Hydro Slime.

The summon was composed of pure Hydro element, looking very clear and transparent.

Slimes, on the other hand, were opaque blue, and when killed, they would drop their unique Slime condensate.

It was clear that there were other substances inside. After all, they were creatures of Teyvat. It was normal for them to be different from those summoned by his skills.

The size of this summon was much, much larger than it had been in the morning, as Alex had already leveled up to nine!

"Go! Bouncing Little Ball! Use Charge!" Alex lifted the summon and threw it at the Pyro Slime sunbathing not far ahead.

Alex's summon hit the Pyro Slime instantly.

The unsuspecting Pyro Slime was knocked rolling and flying, and at the same time, his vibrant red body instantly dimmed.

The Pyro Slime got angry and also used Charge on the summon.

Thus, the summon and the Pyro Slime began a turn-based attack, pushing each other back and forth.

"..." Alex was speechless. Why was it still such a scratch? He silently pulled out the splendor of tranquil waters that he had put away.

With Alex's addition, one blow—no, one sword thrust—punctured the Pyro Slime, turning it into a puddle of Slime liquid.

Seeing the liquid, Alex realized that he had been so annoyed by the summon's scratching that he forgot he should have used it to start a fire.

After a while longer.

"Bang! ..."

"Ya!"

"Hmm!" Furina spoke up to remind him.

Right, right, right, I almost forgot it was going to be used as a stick again.

"Swish swish swish!" Three sword strikes took care of the Hilichurl holding the torch.

This time, when fighting this Hilichurl, Alex intentionally slammed the summon hard onto the ground, making it turn into a puddle of water and disappear.

Fortunately, this summon could be dismissed at will, which perfectly activated his Revenge passive.

With the Revenge buff, he charged out with his sword, which allowed the torch to remain intact.

"Alright, we have fire!" Alex gave Furina a thumbs up.
