Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 Chiori: I’m from Inazuma, sell me your figurines!

Just yesterday, Alex drove Furina all the way to Port Ormos.

They played in Port Ormos until night.

When they were tired from playing, he drove Furina back to Fontaine.

Finally, Alex returned home, not forgetting to plant the newly drawn lemon sapling in the spiritual field at the edge of his property.

Early this morning, Furina surprisingly came to Alex's house and took his Baron Bunny.

Well, he had only been the Baron Bunny's owner for half a day, and on the second day, Furina took it away.

Furina, without a hint of politeness, twisted the throttle and sped away... Hmm, Furina seemed quite skilled at driving.

That makes sense, as Fontaine also has similar driving mechanical vehicles.

Looking at the direction Furina left in, it seemed she was off to see an opera again.

Speaking of which, he still had some Primogems in his backpack that he hadn't spent, but these were definitely not enough to reach pity.

After thinking about it, he didn't really lack anything special right now.

He had originally wanted a five-star Sword, but now he had a three-star harbinger of dawn to make do with.

He would pull later when he needed to; for now, he would be a hoarder.

Alex realized he hadn't yet experienced how Baron Bunny performed in combat in non-riding mode.

Instead, early this morning, he was still carrying two Swords, with his little Furina summon, ready to complete four commissions.

The summon still only shot water orbs, while Alex ambushed and stabbed from the side.

Fontaine, Lione District, Adventurers' Guild.

After completing four commissions and receiving his rewards, Alex asked, "Katheryne, are there any closer monster Subjugation commissions?"

Katheryne smiled and replied, "Currently there are none, but besides Subjugation missions, you can also accept commissions within Fontaine.

There are still many of those."

"Never mind those, then give me four Subjugation commissions that are a bit further away."

Alex was speechless as he looked at the commission locations in the dark areas of the map.

He already had a mount! They couldn't possibly make him run ten or twenty miles just to complete a mission, could they?

So, Alex sat on a wooden chair next to the Adventurers' Guild, squinting in the sun, and relaxed!

Katheryne's occasional "To the stars..." became his lullaby.

"Hoo-hoo-hoo~" After a short nap, Alex opened his eyes to find it was already past one in the afternoon.

He opened his inventory; had Baron Bunny not been put away by Furina yet? Was he still riding it?

He stood up and left the Adventurers' Guild.

Katheryne even said goodbye to him: "Travel safely, Adventurer Sir."

He decided to go for afternoon tea first.

Alex casually wandered not far before arriving at a cafe.

Seeing an elderly female staff member, Alex directly said, "Auntie, I'll have a cappuccino~"

The staff member turned around and called out, "Get this young man a cappuccino."

He slowly savored the drink, a mixture of Milk and coffee.

Alex leisurely passed the time.

Suddenly, Alex remembered something and took out the figurine he had pulled, playing with it in his hand.

He had forgotten to find a place at home to display this figurine.

But, never mind!

It felt very unsafe; keeping it at home was worse than letting it gather dust in his backpack, where he could also take it out and look at it from time to time.

Placing Aili Xiya on the table, Alex began to admire her carefully.

Wow, as expected of an authentic product costing over a thousand, it was truly exquisite, truly beautiful.

The texture, the clothes, the pose... Meanwhile, at a table not far from Alex, who was still deeply immersed in looking at the figurine, a travel-worn young Damselette, who had just arrived in Fontaine, was also drinking coffee, a sugar-free, Milk-free black coffee.

She had been sitting there for a long time, observing the people coming and going on Fontaine's most luxurious street.

Initially, she hadn't paid attention to the newcomer, merely considering him an ordinary passerby.

Although he was wearing a common luxurious ready-made garment in Fontaine, the style of the clothes, the fabric used, the cutting pattern... she could only say: "No! It's not enough!"

The Damselette, who had just arrived, had watched for a long time and seen many people, shaking her head internally.

In Fontaine, this city of fashion and art, the clothes they designed and made weren't as good as she had imagined!

"These trends are too ordinary."

The Damselette's ideal became even firmer, and she felt she could easily achieve her dream.

"I listen to intuition, not trends! I will rewrite the rules with my aesthetics!" the Damselette murmured.

It wasn't until the Damselette unintentionally glimpsed the new passerby taking out a figurine.

Her normally calm red eyes trembled slightly, as if she had seen something that could overturn her world.

"Slurp~" Alex picked up his cup and took a few sips of coffee; after putting the cup down, Alex suddenly noticed something in his peripheral vision.

He closed his eyes again, then opened them, and took a sip of cappuccino.

That's right! There seemed to be half a Damselette's head next to his table.

A large red three-petal hair ornament was pinned in her hair.

The Damselette half-crouched, only her eyes visible above the table, looking at the figurine displayed on the table.

She began to carefully scan it and evaluate the clothing in her mind: "Hmm, hmm, huh? Hmm..."

Seeing that Alex, the owner of the figurine, was looking at her, the Damselette pointed at the figurine and unceremoniously commanded, "Turn it around, let me see again."

Alex subconsciously turned the figurine halfway, but then thought, no, why should I listen to her? Alex glared fiercely.

Unexpectedly, after a few more glances at the figurine, the Damselette stood up directly, touched her waist, and immediately said, "Name your price, sell me your figurine!"

"Huh?" Alex also stood up and began to stare at the Damselette in front of him.

"The figurine, I like it very much, sell it to me!" The Damselette pointed at the figurine on the table, then struck a pose like the Aili Xiya figurine, her left hand on her chest, her right hand extended towards Alex in a gesture of demand.

Alex rubbed his head and refused with an eye-roll: "I won't sell it for any amount of Mora!" Is this item something Mora can buy?

Even if you are a Damselette, I don't know you!

The Damselette understood that the price of this item could not be measured in Mora by him; he was not short on money, so... "Hello, my name is Chiori, and I am from Inazuma." The Damselette named Chiori began to try a different strategy.

Seeing that the Damselette in front of him had introduced herself, Alex felt it would be rude not to respond: "Hello, hello, my name is Alex, and I am from Blue Star."

"Hmm?" Chiori looked utterly confused.

After they introduced themselves, taking advantage of the other person being silenced, Alex finally had the chance to carefully look at the Damselette named Chiori in front of him.
