Chapter 125 - Chapter 126: Kaeya's Applause and the Wind Elemental Monument

After dinner, Alex brought up the Wind Glider in Mondstadt.

"A Wind Glider, huh? Alright, since you want one, I'll give it to you." Amber nodded, agreeing, as she had just enjoyed a free lavish meal, so giving a Wind Glider as a welcome gift was only appropriate.

"It seems you've also discovered the benefits of the Wind Glider," Amber then said, crossing her arms.

Aside from Mondstadters, foreigners rarely used Wind Gliders, even though they were very useful.

"Wind is the soul of Mondstadt, isn't it?" Alex recalled a phrase at that moment and spoke it aloud.

"Mhm, it seems you know a lot," Amber nodded.

Finally, the two began to say their goodbyes.

"Well then, I'm off!" Amber waved her hand, then added, "Then tomorrow morning at eight, let's meet at the large plaza on the high ground in northern Mondstadt City."

It was time for Amber to go back to sleep, and she also needed to prepare the Wind Glider she was giving to Alex before heading home.

Hmm, it's best to prepare another one, just in case she meets another foreign traveler; she could recommend it.

"Mhm, goodbye. Good night." With that, Alex also left.

Today was alright; he had indeed arrived in Mondstadt within half a day, with half of that time spent with Rhodeia of Loch.

Arriving at the Teleport Waypoint at the northeast gate on the steps, two Fatui were talking there.

The male Fatui said, "Hey, did you hear? Inazuma has started implementing a Sakoku Decree."

The female Fatui nodded, "A Sakoku Decree, how terrible! Now, foreigners going to Inazuma have to go to Ritou to handle the island entry documents."

"I know about that. I heard it costs hundreds of thousands of Mora to process one document," the male Fatui said, shaking his head.

Alex silently walked past these two Mondstadt informants, activated a Teleport Waypoint, and left.

"Hmm, island entry documents..." That certainly sounded troublesome, but going to Inazuma to find Thoma first should solve the problem.

There was another Teleport Waypoint in Mondstadt City, which was on the roof of the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

Coincidentally, he could now jump ten meters high, so this was an easy task.

Afterward, Alex ran frantically and soon ascended the long, wide steps.

Two people stood at the main entrance ahead; Alex calmly walked past them and then went to the back to start jumping.

After just a few jumps, Alex indeed saw the Teleport Waypoint on the roof.

After unlocking it, Alex saw the Statue of The Seven in the plaza with its huge wings, its hands cupped forward.

Originally, Alex intended to unlock this Teleport Waypoint and leave.

But looking at the Statue of The Seven, and then at his surroundings, because the sky had already darkened, tiny stars twinkled, and on top of that, the dragon disaster was still ongoing.

At this moment, there was not a single person in the large plaza; even the nun who usually stood there was nowhere to be seen.

Since he was already here, it would be a real pity not to go up and sit for a while.

No sooner said than done!

Alex immediately jumped down, using a Plunging Attack with his Sword.

After landing, his legs felt slightly numb.

It was his first time using a Plunging Attack, and it wasn't bad. Perhaps it was due to the Vision's boost, making his body already different from ordinary people.

Moreover, he was a Hydro element character, with high HP and healing capabilities.

As he spoke, Alex unleashed his Combat Skill; beautiful jellyfish swam around him.

The slight discomfort in his body also vanished.

"Clap, clap, clap!"

Just then, Alex heard applause.

Good heavens! Did using a Combat Skill trigger an NPC to applaud?

No, that's not right. I've been using Combat Skills in Fontaine before, and no one ever applauded like this.

Alex turned around and saw him: deep blue hair, wearing a black eye patch, dark brown skin, dark clothes and boots, and a large white feathered cloak.

It was Kaeya!

"Haha, hello, hello! Thank you, thank you." Alex bowed slightly.

"I wasn't praising your skill. I saw everything just now; you actually jumped down from the roof of the Knights of Favonius headquarters," the dark-skinned young man Kaeya said.

"Just pretend I was passing by," Alex said, pressing his palms together.

Kaeya immediately smiled and waved a hand, "Haha, don't worry... it's nothing, it's just been a long time since I've seen anyone dare to jump onto the roof of the Knights of Favonius."

"Ah, is that so!" Alex rubbed his head.

The atmosphere was silent for a few seconds before Kaeya remembered to introduce himself: "First, let me introduce myself. My name is Kaeya, the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius."

"Hello, Kaeya. My name is Alex. I'm from Fontaine."

Kaeya's eyes widened noticeably, a little surprised: "Oh, Fontaine! I heard a while ago that someone with Hydro..."

As soon as he heard this, Alex quickly interrupted, denying three times: "No, it wasn't me, don't talk nonsense!"

"Oh ho, I haven't even said anything yet." Alright, now Kaeya was ninety percent sure in his heart that he was that person.

Especially since he also had a Hydro Vision and was from Fontaine.

Finally, Kaeya looked at Alex with a serious expression: "So, are you my guest, or a new storm?"

"I am the storm! Because, I have arrived!" Finally, Alex said confidently, ending their conversation.

After bidding farewell to Kaeya, Alex had now arrived beneath the Statue of The Seven.

With high jumps and the support of his hands, he climbed onto the arm of the Statue of The Seven in just two jumps.

Then Alex carefully walked to the palm of the Statue of The Seven and sat down.

He dangled his legs, looking at the sky.

The night sky of Teyvat was truly beautiful; he could never tire of looking at it.

Alright, he sat for a while longer, but still nothing happened, and his phone still didn't have an achievement system.

With a strong push of his hands, Alex's body leaped down from the palm.

Before he even landed, he was gone.

Back home, he pulled up the covers.

It was already eight o'clock; it was time to sleep.

Another half an hour passed, and Alex's eyes suddenly opened.

He suddenly remembered that there was something he hadn't done in Mondstadt today.

Alex sat up and checked the time.

Only eight o'clock!

The next moment, he put his clothes back on. He went to the Statue of The Seven between Dawn Winery and Springvale.

Damn it, he hadn't seen the Teleport Waypoint when he was exploring Wolvendom earlier.

Then, Alex drove Baron Bunny and flew towards Wolvendom again.

He wasn't here for anything else; his weapons, skyward harp and harbinger of dawn, both needed materials to ascend and upgrade!

Before long, Alex saw the familiar clearing, but at this moment, where the Domain gate should have been, there was only a square, single-layered step. On the step was a two-meter-high large stone.

Ah! This wasn't a step; it was the top of the Domain gate.

He still had to break this stone!

But at this moment, Alex found that he couldn't sleep!!!

He saw a Wind Element Monolith in front of the Domain.

At the four corners of the monolith were Seelie Courts.

The Seelie Courts were empty.

Help me!

Even if I return all four Seelies to their positions.

But how am I supposed to make the Wind element appear!
