Chapter 136 - Chapter 137: Awarded Honorary Knight, it turns out you can also teleport?

Not long after, Lumine also arrived at the Cat's Tail Tavern.

She had already followed the three of them to solve the abandoned temple, encountered an Abyss Mage, and gained a Preliminary understanding of the Abyss.

She even met a new companion, Diluc.

When she returned, she ran into Grand Master Jean having a small dispute with a Fatui diplomat outside, which ended unpleasantly.

Grand Master Jean saw Lumine return, spoke a few words to her, and then told Lumine to find Alex and come to the Knights of Favonius together again.

So Lumine easily found her way here.

"My turn! Draw!" Alex grabbed two cards from the deck.

Lumine and Paimon, who had been watching the latter half of the game, showed interest, and Paimon asked, "What is this? It looks like a lot of fun."

"This is called Genius Invokation TCG. Lumine, do you want to try a round?" Alex was a little surprised to see Lumine arrive.

"Next time. Grand Master Jean is looking for us; we need to go to the Knights of Favonius again together." Lumine crossed her arms. Although she was open to playing card games, now was not the right time.

"Alright." Alex packed up the cards into his card bag and then followed Lumine out of the Cat's Tail Tavern.

"Oh, ho~ The weather outside has returned to normal. It seems it really was due to the chaotic elemental flow... Thankfully, you all resolved it." When they went outside, the sky, which had been gloomy before, was now bright and sunny.

The residents of Mondstadt, who had been hiding indoors, felt that things outside had returned to normal and came out to continue their activities.

And the people passing by saw that it was these two who fought against the giant dragon; they were truly powerful!!!

Lumine and Alex constantly responded to the greetings of the Mondstadt citizens along the way.

"It's resolved, it's all resolved. Stormterror will no longer wantonly destroy the city."

"Yes, yes, we just met Grand Master Jean, and she clarified the matter of Stormterror for us, our Four Winds Guardian, the Dragon of the East, Dvalin."

"That's right, thankfully the two Travelers helped us solve it!"

Soon after, inside the office at the entrance of the Knights of Favonius. The two knocked on the door, and only after Grand Master Jean's "Come in" echoed from inside did they slowly enter.

Alex walked into the office and saw Lisa sitting at a small table beside a large clock, flipping through a very thick book.

Kaeya was also standing beside her, arms crossed.

Grand Master Jean stood up, stopped writing, and came to the desk, looking at the two of them.

"First, on behalf of the Knights of Favonius, I thank you again for your help. You truly helped a great deal with Dvalin's matter," Grand Master Jean said politely, gently touching her chest.

In fact, Grand Master Jean had been troubled by this matter, but fortunately, things unexpectedly took a turn for the better.

Otherwise, if Dvalin remained in such a state, controlled by corrupted blood, for the safety of all Mondstadt residents, Grand Master Jean would have had to personally intervene and slay Dvalin. This would have been a last resort.

Fortunately, things did not develop according to the worst-case scenario.

Grand Master Jean was still very grateful to these two in her heart.

"And then, the Knights of Favonius has an impolite request. Please accept the title of Honorary Knight of the Knights of Favonius... and the acting Grand Master's gratitude." This was her gratitude alone.

"Honorary Knight of the Knights of Favonius...?" Paimon asked with a puzzled expression.

The conferment ceremony was held and completed with all the residents of Mondstadt as witnesses.

It was a classic Western European style ceremony for bestowing titles.

Then, nearly two and a half hours had passed since they received the title of Honorary Knight.

Alex and Lumine strolled to the large plaza with the Statue of The Seven.

At this moment, they actually saw the bard Venti performing there.

Finally, Venti began to tell a story: "The story I am about to tell begins in ancient times... when the gods still walked the earth, and the Dragon of the Sky descended from the heavens."

Alright, so it was this, but without animation, the viewing experience wasn't very good.

When Venti finished this story, as he transitioned to a new one, Alex quietly took out his phone and re-watched the animated version.

Finally, everyone dispersed, leaving Venti alone.

"Haha, hello there, Travelers we've met before."

"I didn't get a chance to say it there, but aren't you that green guy who stood in front of Stormterror before?" Paimon put her hands on her hips, remembering that she and Lumine had met this person before.

"Oh, I remember now too, so it was you two who scared Dvalin away," Venti said with a beaming smile, looking at Lumine and Paimon.

"And that's not called Stormterror anymore, it's called Dvalin."

"Oh! Uh..." Paimon put her hand on her head and bowed in apology, "I remember now, but don't most people still call him Stormterror?"

Venti waved his hand, telling Paimon not to worry: "Oh, it's fine to call him Stormterror, after all, most common folk are used to that name."

The group chatted a bit more, and Venti even told them two stories about Dvalin's childhood.

Alex's eyes were wide with surprise; he had also heard two embarrassing stories from Dvalin's childhood.

"Dvalin rolling around, it's a bit hard to imagine." Paimon held her head, indicating her limited brain capacity. How could such a large dragon roll? It was truly strange.

"Alright, then I'll be going now, goodbye!" Venti waved, preparing to leave.

Paimon, quick-mouthed, immediately asked, "Where are you going?"

Venti didn't mind and told them his itinerary: "To the Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero, farewell!"

After Venti finished speaking, he started to jog, and then, finding no one else around, he directly transformed into a wisp of clear wind and vanished from their sight.

Paimon watched Venti disappear: "What is he going to do at the Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero? Lumine, what do you think?"

"I'm watching it with my brain thrown away." Lumine also looked bewildered; who knew what he was going to do?

"What do you think?" Paimon said, looking at Alex.

"I, I want to watch it lying down," Alex whispered.

Alright, both of them were unreliable. Paimon, unable to contain her curiosity, decided to have everyone go and see: "Hmm, the Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero, I do know it, it must be that big tree... that ve~~~ry conspicuous, very big tree. You must remember it."

"Okay, then let's go too." Alex immediately knew what Paimon wanted to do.

It was a good opportunity for him to talk to Venti about something he wanted to get his hands on and have it for himself.

As he spoke, Alex placed his hand on Lumine's shoulder, and in the next moment, they disappeared.

"Wow, how did you all get here so fast!" Venti stood under the big tree and saw the three of them not far away.

Alex was very curious; he had only teleported Lumine, so how did Paimon also come along?

"Oh? So you can teleport too!" Lumine looked at Alex with surprise.

She had just felt herself being teleported by Alex, and fortunately, she had also brought Paimon along, allowing him to teleport with her.

"I didn't expect you all to actually follow." Venti said, beckoning the distant group to come under the big tree.
