The pleasant chat after dinner passed quickly.
The sky was now completely dark, illuminated only by the large moon and countless small stars.
Paimon stretched, feeling drowsy after a full meal.
Lumine, infected by the yawn, also stretched.
Facing Alex, she puffed out her two rather nicely undulating hills.
Not bad, with that puff, the abyss between them indeed felt much deeper.
Lumine stood up, waving goodbye to Alex: "Well then, see you tomorrow. We're heading back to the small inn we rented to rest."
With Paimon around, she couldn't just sleep outdoors like before. She needed to earn more Mora to feed this big eater of an emergency food.
Otherwise, Lumine wouldn't have taken on so many high-paying commissions. Although there were still many insignificant small commissions, they all earned Mora!
"Hmm, alright. See you tomorrow." Alex also stood up and waved goodbye to Lumine.
Once they left, he too, with a flash, returned to the Palais Mermonia.
This meal actually cost him over eighty thousand Mora. That was quite expensive.
But not that expensive, one or two Ley Line Outcrops would cover it... "Hmm?" Alex suddenly paused. He felt like he wouldn't be able to sleep again.
Hadn't he just ascended today?!
He needed to farm for experience!
He needed to quickly check what ascend materials were needed at level fifty!
What was he doing? Just having fun with Lumine.
And not just that, artifacts were starting to drop gold. Although it seemed to be a probabilistic drop, not a stable one or two gold pieces.
But he could farm infinitely!
Never mind, it's not like one day would make a difference. He could take it slow over the next few days.
Besides, he had something to do tonight; the fruits were ripe and needed picking.
Before that, Alex came here to look for Furina, to see if he was home.
He didn't find Furina in his room, so Alex finally went to Neuvillette's office.
Neuvillette was still sitting there, dealing with documents... "Furina? I just saw him. He said he was going to your house. He mentioned the lemons and other fruits were about to ripen." Neuvillette told Alex.
Alex nodded knowingly: "Oh, I see. Neuvillette, why haven't you gotten off work yet?"
... Neuvillette stopped talking, then started flipping through his documents, ignoring Alex.
Alex was about to leave when he suddenly remembered something; he didn't seem to have checked Neuvillette's level and stats.
Thinking this, Alex directly raised his phone towards Neuvillette.
Neuvillette, male. Race: Incomplete Ancient Dragon. Faction: Fontaine, Chief Justice. ???: Hydro. Level: 80/80. Constellation: 0.
After waiting a while, Alex still hadn't left. Neuvillette looked up and saw that Alex was staring at him with a strange gaze.
Good heavens, Neuvillette was so powerful! This was truly the first person below the gods. He had always thought it was Clorinde before.
And this was not even a complete dragon. If it were like in the allogene videos, wouldn't he be directly comparable to a god!
Seeing Neuvillette staring at him, Alex felt awkward. He immediately flashed away, heading home to find Furina.
Who, feeling awkward? Was it okay to stare at him?
"Fu fu fu fu fu!" Arriving at his doorstep, Alex started calling out "fu fu fu."
"What's wrong? Why are you s-s-s-stuttering?" Then, from the fields, Furina's figure appeared.
"N-n-n-not that!" Alex didn't recover immediately, truly getting flustered by Furina's four 'huan'.
Furina shook his head and sighed: "It's over, it seems you're really broken. Go find a doctor and get a check-up. I recommend you go to the prison hospital. The doctors there are the most skilled."
Alex scratched his head and said to Furina: "Oh, no, it's not that! It's just been a long time since I've seen you, and I'm so excited I called out 'Fu Fu' a few more times."
"Huh? We just saw each other this morning. How long has it been? And you already miss me?" Furina put his hands on his hips helplessly. There was no denying his charm was still too great; he actually missed him terribly after being apart for less than a day.
"It's been a very long time, every second felt like a year!" Alex clasped his hands into fists at his chest, looking deeply at Furina.
Hearing Alex say this, Furina's face couldn't help but flush slightly.
Then Furina said seriously: "Alright, stop being mischievous. Come and see our fruits."
"Oh, I'm coming." Alex said, walking into his field.
First, at a glance, many large trees had appeared around the field.
These were cocoa trees, and on their trunks and branches, there were densely packed yellow, red, and green oval-shaped fruit pods.
Inside these pods were probably the legendary cocoa beans.
Alex didn't know much about them, only the general idea.
"The air around here smells so fragrant, especially this large orange spiky fruit." Furina then pointed to another low-lying thicket.
It was all spiky leaves, and although this fruit emitted a sweet aroma, Furina had tried to grab it a few times just now. It was too prickly, so he directly gave up and waited for Alex to come back and handle it.
Furina asked Alex, who was looking over: "What is this called again?"
Alex replied: "pineapple."
Hmm, it was time to harvest the fruits; there was still a pile of lemons to go.
So, Alex activated his ultimate again and started harvesting lemons.
And unlike before, Alex also unleashed his Combat Skill.
The Combat Skill now conjured two figures in front of Furina.
The smaller one was Furina himself, and the larger one was Focalors, his reflection in the mirror.
"Uh... you can summon two now?" Furina didn't dwell on it; he already understood that Alex's water could transform into anyone he wished.
That was truly amazing! He was very envious. Furina also wanted a summoned companion.
Furina began his fantasy, and in his mind, there were only three figures.
Those were three characters from a very beautiful, lesser-known book he had read.
Hmm, what would those three look like?
Then the two summoned figures began to process the cocoa bean fruits and pineapple fruits separately. The smaller Furina handled the pineapple, while the larger Focalors handled the cocoa beans.
It didn't take much effort for Alex to process this harvest, putting everything into his backpack. Then he cleared away the excess trees and leaves, and sowed seeds again for planting.
"Come with me, I'll wash a pineapple for you to try first." Alex said, taking Furina's small hand and entering the room.
"Ay, ay~~~" Furina could only let out two soft exclamations behind Alex, his body still controlled by Alex, being led into the house.
