Lukas opened his eyes with a groan. He had just woken from a very strange dream.First, he had met a girl and even gone on a date with her, but she ended up putting on a monocle. When he tried to escape, everyone around him also put on monocles and held him down. Just as she was about to finish undressing, he woke up.
What a weird dream, he thought to himself.
He lay in bed for a few more minutes before finally getting up, washing himself, and putting on clothes. After finishing all that, he sat down on a chair and thought:
How should I make more money? Should I start making guns like those from Nazi Germany? Nah, too risky. Should I create a lottery and give myself the winning numbers? Sounds good, but there are definitely better ideas…
Suddenly, he got an idea.
What if I become an author and start writing a book? After all, Sequence 1 of the Visionary Pathway is called "Author." It's perfect.
After settling on that idea, he picked up a steel-nibbed pen and began writing. However, after a few hours, he realized he had only written about a hundred words. At his current pace, it would take weeks, if not months, to finish even half of a book.
Frustrated, he put down the pen and grabbed a quill. With a firm stroke, he wrote:
"Lukas, the owner of this quill, has a perfect memory of all the Harry Potter books—all the words, all the sentences, everything. And he can never forget them."
The moment he finished writing, a massive flood of information poured into his mind. After organizing his thoughts, he picked up the steel-nibbed pen again and began writing furiously.
A few hours later, he had filled about twenty pages. Putting the pen down, he looked outside at the dark sky, where a blood-red moon hung ominously. He let out a small sigh before going to bed, knowing the next few days would be spent writing.
Four days passed, and during that time Lukas focused almost entirely on writing Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. When he finally finished, he gone to publishing company and showed them the book. To his delight, they agreed to release 5,000 copies of the book.
Currently, he was walking—though he wasn't entirely sure where—when something caught his gaze. Two girls stood nearby. One was short, around 150 centimeters, with messy blond hair. The other was taller, about 160 centimeters, with somewhat curled brown hair and striking blue eyes.
They were none other than Fors and Xio, future members of the Tarot Club.
He decided to approach them.
"Hey, ladies, are you looking for something?"
Both of them turned around at the sound of his voice. The first to speak was Fors.
"Oh, we're just looking for a person. Also, my name is Fors."
"My name is Lukas," he replied, then looked at Xio. "And is your name Shorty?"
At those words, an unhappy expression appeared on Xio's face.
"Oh, her name is Xio," Fors explained quickly. "She doesn't like being called short."
Xio shot Fors an angry look.
"Oh, okay. See you around then, Xio and Fors." After saying that, Lukas turned and walked away.
Once they made sure he was out of earshot, Xio turned to Fors.
"Why did you tell him our real names?" she asked sharply.
"Well… he looked really nice," Fors answered with an awkward smile.
"You never know—he might have evil intentions." Xio frowned, then looked away. "Let's keep looking for that killer."
Back at his house, Lukas reflected on the events of the day.
Hmm, my first meeting with Fors and Xio was interesting. They're very beautiful too… almost as beautiful as Audrey.
