Aira tried to focus on anything else. But her brain refused to cooperate. Instead, the things she had accidentally seen kept replaying in her mind.
Over and over again.
Aira groaned. "Why did I even look at a man who was bathing in the first place?!"
She buried her face in her hands. "I'm seriously not a pervert."
She paused.
"...I mean, what I did was kind of a pervert thing."
She immediately shook her head. "But it was just the first time! I only did it out of curiosity!"
She lowered her hands slightly. "I was just supposed to look at his shoulders!" She nodded firmly. "That's it."
A few seconds passed.
"Or his back." Her face became impossibly red. "Not..." Her eyes widened. "Nope."
She immediately covered her face again. "I'm not finishing that sentence."
She took a deep breath. "Okay. That's enough." She turned away from the pond. "I'm going this time. For real."
The elf prince was still facing away from her.
Aira carefully stood. One step then another.
