Again every disciple stood in a line except there was an oddity this time.
"Senior Lu Changsheng? Why are you in the line with us and where is Wujin Ji?" Liuyan Xue questioned as she noticed the senior who was instructing her standing beside her.
"Sigh.. I've been replaced and lost my chance for promotion.." Lu Changsheng said without a hint of deception.
The disciples all gasped in shock and then realized what it meant for Wujin Ji to be missing and for Lu Changsheng to say he's been replaced.
"Surely there's no way right?" Su Yan said with a half grin, thinking of the absurd possibility.
And just like that, Wujin Ji stepped out of the disciple's quarters and into the courtyard, and stood in front of all of them.
"Hello everyone, today I'm going to start my first day as the new instructor!" Wujin Ji said with a smile.
At first he wanted to decline this but the Elder said it was mandatory for Inner sect disciples to undergo this mission, otherwise they'd never have a chance to be an elder in the future.
"This is ridiculous, what could you possibly teach us!" Chen Long shouted with anger.
"Brother Chen, do you not remember the battle he had with Senior Lu Changsheng? Perhaps he's not as simple as he appears." Zhao Xuan said, surprisingly standing up for Wujin Ji.
Chen Long ruled his eyes.
"If you want to waste your time with this rabble spouting nonsense, that's up to you! I'm leaving." Chen Long said and began to walk away.
"Oh yeah? You can leave if you want Chen Long.. it's just that.." Wujin Ji paused.
"Elder Fu said that anyone who doesn't listen will be expelled from the sect and will be barred from ever joining again."
Chen Long immediately stopped. He looked down, shook his head and sighed deeply and slunk back to his position.
"Anyways.. Lets start with the first step."
Wujin Ji then walked in front of Liuyan Xue.
"Abolish. Your. Cultivation." He said slowly and smiled in front of her, his face getting uncomfortably close.
Su Yan immediately began fuming but remembered what Wujin Ji said about Elder Fu and tried to calm herself down.
"Listen.. Junior Wujin Ji. A-" Liuyan was cut off.
"Senior Wujin." Wujin Ji said with an even bigger smile.
"S-senior Wujin. About our previous transgressions, must we really make such a big deal out of them?" Liuyan said, attempting to resolve their conflict.
"This has nothing to do with that. Now abolish and disperse your cultivation. You will thank me later." Wujin Ji commanded.
The other disciples looked at Liuyan with pity and even Lu Changsheng felt bad for her and simply shook his head.
"Wujin Ji, no Senior Wujin! PLEASE! Have mercy on her!" Su Yan couldn't contain herself anymore and moved out of line and in front of Wujin Ji.
"You don't understand Su Yan, I am helping her." Wujin Ji said.
"How are you helping her! You are ruining her future! Please retract your decision!" Su Yan begged with tears erupting out of her eyes.
Liuyan Xue looked at Su Yan and a single tear streamed from her left eye.
"I don't want to lose my cultivation, sister Su, but you don't have to protect me." Liuyan Xue said as more tears appeared on her pale face.
Wujin Ji couldn't help but feel like the bad guy. He sincerely wanted to help her!
Su Yan held her arms out and offered a hug to Liuyan Xue to which she leapt into her arms and balled her eyes out.
"Liuyan.." Chen Long looked at the scene with complex emotions.
Zhao Xuan didn't feel like Wujin Ji would do anything to truly harm Liuyan Xue, but he still felt like it was a shame to lose such strength that was gained so quickly.
"Enough, just do as I say and I swear on my foundation that I am not doing you harm!" Wujin Ji said, and Liuyan had no option but to abolish her cultivation.
Under the eyes of everyone present, she had once again, become a regular mortal.
Lu Changsheng looked at her dantian and saw nothing. "She actually did it.." He let out a sigh.
"Junior Liuyan, come to my room tonight and I shall teach you a secret technique." Wujin Ji said and then the area froze once more.
"Are joking?! You're going too far Wujin Ji! You had her disperse her cultivation so she could be forced to dual cultivate with you! Just because an elder favors you, does not mean you can do whatever you want! I am going to report you, now!" Su Yan said as she left, not caring about any repercussions.
LiuyanXue had no choice but to nod and she wept. She ran to her room, unable to bear anything any longer.
"Wujin Ji, how about you dual cultivate with Lu Changsheng instead?" Chen Long said and spit on Wujin Ji.
"This is ridiculous, I never said anything about dual cultivation and the disrespect I am receiving is outrageous!" Wujin Ji shouted angrily.
Zhao Xuan looked at Wujin Ji with a complicated expression.
"Senior Wujin.. I believe that you are doing this for her own good, or at least that's what I hope. If you truly are helping her, can you help me as well?" Zhao Xuan said as Chen Long also left.
Wujin Ji sighed. "We have less than a week for this tournament and I have these ridiculous disciples jumping to conclusions, what am I to do.."
"Yes of course Zhao Xuan, I plan to help not only you but even Lu Changsheng!"
Lu Changsheng raised an eyebrow at this comment.
Lu Changsheng thought that while Wujin Ji does have abnormal power for his cultivation, he had more insights into the actual cultivation itself.
Wujin Ji walked up to Zhao Xuan "Let's start with you."
Zhao Xuan nodded.
"Okay, take off your shirt!" Wujin Ji said with a smile.
".. Okay." Zhao Xuan complied hesitantly.
Wujin Ji then attempted to focus the qi in his eyes to enhance his senses as he hadn't truly learned how to use qi sense.
However, in doing this, Wujin Ji unknowingly had senses far greater than normal Qi Sense thanks to his body cultivation technique!
"Interesting.. Welp that explains it!" Wujin Ji concluded.
"Explains what? What's wrong with my cultivation, Senior Wujin?" Zhao Xuan said anxiously.
"There's a seal on your dantian. We just need to break the seal and allow you to cultivate normally!" Wujin Ji answered.
Lu Changsheng looked at Wujin Ji with a suspicious expression. How could Wujin Ji see a seal? Lu Changsheng certainly couldn't!
"Okay.. how can we break it?" Zhao Xuan said, ready to finally be able to cultivate like everyone else.
"Easy! You just need a really hard punch in your dantian!" Wujin Ji said.
"Wait.. what?" Zhao Xuan muttered as Wujin Ji immediately punched full force!
Zhao Xuan flew back and his body hit the wall of one of the disciple's rooms.
Blood trickled down his mouth and he fell unconscious.
"Wujin Ji! You could have crippled him!" Lu Changsheng shouted as he rushed over to Zhao Xuan.
However, he was then stopped as an aura began to be emitted from Zhao Xuan's body and his body began to levitate in the air.
"What is this?!" Lu Changsheng shouted.
The aura of Zhao Xuan continued to flow chaotically, dust began to fly everywhere and windows cracked and then shattered.
Then soon it concluded and the aura dissipated as if never had existed.
Zhao Xuan slowly opened his eyes and it was as if he was never injured.
Wujin Ji just smiled and looked at Zhao Xuan with his upgraded Qi Sense and nodded.
"You were never Zhao Xuan to begin with. I can see in your soul your true name." Wujin Ji said.
"Nice to meet you Bu Xuan."
"Bu Xuan? I was never Zhao Xuan to begin with.." Bu Xuan blinked multiple times in realization and then quickly got up and walked towards Wujin Ji.
"So.. What now? Do I have to re cultivate like Liuyan Xue?" Bu Xuan asked with confusion.
"Oh no, only she can walk that path because of her talent. In your case I think it'd be better to follow the standard way." Wujin Ji nodded and then turned to Lu Changsheng.
"As for you Lu Changsheng.."
Lu Changsheng cringed at Wujin Ji using his name without honorifics.
"You just need to open your mind a little, you're too focused on the narrow path and unknowingly trapped yourself in a small world." Wujin Ji said and then walked towards his room.
"Thats all, I'm going to go cultivate and I suggest you all do the same. If the others don't meet up here tomorrow I will be telling Elder Fu, let them know!" Wujin Ji said as he left the two of them, stunned.
"A lot.. A lot happened today." Bu Xuan said as he too walked to his room.
Later that night, Wujin Ji was meditating when the door to his room was opened.
Liuyan Xue walked in slowly and then stood in front of Wujin Ji.
Her face was expressionless.
"Senior Wujin.. Just promise me you won't harm Su Yan or the others? Please." She said softly.
"Of course, I plan to truly help them become powerful cultivators while I am in charge of them!" Wujin Ji said as he stood up from meditating.
A silence erupted into the room and suddenly Liuyan Xue began to take off her shirt, her face flushed with embarrassment.
Wujin Ji stopped her by grabbing her hands. "Liuyan Xue, what are you doing?"
"... Is this not what I am to do?" She said, puzzled.
Wujin Ji sighed. "Like I shouted earlier, I have no plans to dual cultivate with you."
Liuyan Xue felt embarrassed and closed her eyes and used her hands to hide her face.
"I'm sorry senior Wujin.." she mumbled and Wujin Ji just chuckled and repeatedly told her it was fine.
"Anyways, the reason I had you disperse your cultivation was to teach you my method of cultivating." Wujin Ji said as he motioned for her to sit.
"Now before we begin, I need you to promise to the heavenly dao that you will not share my method without my permission." Wujin Ji said as he also sat down.
"I promise to the heavenly dao that I will not share senior Wujin's cultivation method without his permission." Liuyan Xue said without hesitation and a golden aura erupted between the two of them and a line that connected them appeared and then dissipated.
"Good, now we will truly begin cultivation."
