Unfortunately, reality is not an anime, and Celestial Weave had no toast to eat.
The distance between the train station and Tracen was uneventful. She smoothly ran to the school gate, nodded to the sister who liked to wear a green hat, and entered the academy.
Without hesitation, she ran straight towards the cafeteria. With her speed, she arrived in no time. Glancing at the time on her phone, she had plenty to spare. Starving, she smiled. It was finally time to eat.
"Sorry, dear, but we're all out of breakfast for today."
The cafeteria lady gave her an apologetic smile. She didn't notice the expression on the now-frozen Celestial Weave's face, but continued to muse to herself, "That ash-haired horse girl was amazing. She practically finished all the breakfast by herself."
"What was her name..." Celestial Weave asked, her head bowed, the resentment in her voice almost tangible.
"Let me see... I think she said her name was Tamamo Cross."
Tamamo Cross. She had heard that name. A rumoredly powerful ash-haired horse girl. It matched the cafeteria lady's description.
"I'll never forgive you! Tamamo Cross!"
Ignoring the lady's surprised look, Celestial Weave clenched her fists, let out a low growl, and turned to leave.
Having only eaten half a bowl of rice and miso soup last night, she was already starving. If she hadn't distracted herself with her thoughts on the train, she might not have even made it this far. But just as she pushed open the cafeteria doors full of hope, she was met with a hellish answer.
A furious growl couldn't stop the hunger in her stomach. After leaving the cafeteria, she felt weak. She found a random wall to lean against, just to ease the discomfort. In her daze, she even thought of her white skill, Endurance. Why could it only endure pain and injury? Wasn't hunger uncomfortable? Or maybe if she upgraded it to blue, she could endure hunger too.
Just as she was feeling delirious and even considering using an item, a cheerful voice sounded behind her. "Eh? Celestial Weave?"
She turned her head and saw a somewhat familiar horse girl, holding two drinks with a bee logo on them.
"Thank you, Tokai Dragon King-san."
Thirty seconds. It only took thirty seconds for her to down the super-sweet honey water. She wiped her mouth and thanked the horse girl who had shared her drink.
"It's Tokai Teio! Didn't we just meet yesterday?" Teio said, a little annoyed, but her cheerful tone made it sound more like she was pouting.
"I'm sorry for getting your name wrong. Please forgive me, Daichi Emperor-san." Knowing she had messed up, Celestial Weave apologized sincerely.
"Why are there fewer and fewer elements of my name in there?!" Teio bonked her on the head, but her weak strength only made it feel like a playful tap.
"My deepest apologies. It might be because I haven't eaten breakfast. Once again, I apologize, Sea Tiger War God-sama."
"Who is that?! That has nothing to do with me at all!"
For Tokai Teio, meeting Celestial Weave had just been yesterday. But for Celestial Weave, it was a memory from a long time ago. This deliberate banter was helping her recall things about her. It was definitely not because she was deliberately teasing her.
"You're just teasing me, aren't you," Teio said, looking at her suspiciously. But she didn't bat an eye, acting as if she were genuinely disoriented from not having eaten.

The words "Triple Crown" struck a nerve. Although she didn't know the specific conditions for the "Proof of the Triple Crown," it meant she wouldn't give up any chance to win it. The real world's classic Triple Crown races were, of course, included. This meant that Tokai Teio would be her rival.

With that, she ran off towards her classroom. The similar words made Celestial Weave pause for a moment, but she quickly shook her head and walked towards her own classroom. But she hadn't forgotten her most important goal for the day. She still needed to find a teacher and ask about the details of the G3 race.
