Chapter 43
Kairen squinted his eyes, studying Sebastian for a few seconds before suspiciously taking the file from him. He opened it slowly, like it was an unfolding time bomb.
"That would be your schedule for today," Sebastian said, maniacally.
Kairen scanned the schedule, and his expression immediately shifted.
He was going to follow Sebastian to his training? Unbelievable!
How would I even have time for myself? he thought.
Closing the file slowly, he locked gazes with Sebastian.
"Is anything the matter?" Sebastian asked, tilting his head.
Everything is the matter, you bum-ass motherfucker. Everything. Every damn thing. What's my business with your training? Why should I follow you there? Stupid! Kairen cussed inwardly.
Of course, he couldn't say that out loud—not in this life, or the next.
"No sir, there's no problem at all." His voice came out low, betraying the eruption inside of him.
"Good. Then wait for me at the parking slot once the morning break begins."
