The thumping sound of footsteps against tiles filled the school hallway—sharp, uneven, and charged with panic.

A high school teenager was running for his life, chased by a pack of seniors whose laughter cracked through the hallways like gunfire—brutal, taunting, unrelenting.

Their footsteps echoed behind him, loud and feral.

He burst into the open hallway where other students lingered, chatting, walking, pretending to mind their business.

But the sight of him—his disheveled uniform, the panic in his eyes—shifted everything.

Conversations stopped mid-sentence. Bodies moved aside instinctively, like he carried a contagious disease.

No one dared to intervene. In this school, saving someone from the beasts meant becoming their next target.
