Chapter 2 - Binding the Second System

Hearing the system's explanation, Uchiha Ryosuke finally understood.

The system not only helped him set up training regimens, it could even cultivate automatically.

That was just too convenient.

After all, to become a powerful shinobi, both talent and effort were indispensable.

Even with exceptional talent, without hard work, that talent could never be converted into true strength.

In the original story, Naruto and Might Guy weren't the kind of rational, textbook geniuses.

One could make Rasengan with ease, shaping chakra spheres as if it were nothing. The other could endure brutal training far beyond ordinary limits.

That, too, was talent.

Just not the conventional kind.

Now, however, this system let him bypass all of that—it would help him train directly. Just the thought made his heart race.

He opened his personal system panel.

Host: Uchiha Ryosuke

Strength: 30 – Training at Turtle Speed

Speed: 30 – Training at Turtle Speed

Spirit Power: 40 – Training at Turtle Speed

Constitution: 20 – Training at Turtle Speed

Chakra: 0.5 Kakashi – Training at Turtle Speed

Sharingan: One Tomoe – Training at Turtle Speed

Clone, Substitution, Transformation Jutsu: Training at Turtle Speed

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu: Training at Turtle Speed

Evaluation: Standard Chūnin level

His joy instantly plummeted.

Every line read Turtle Speed training.

As the name implied, the cultivation rate was excruciatingly slow.

Maybe this body's talent was absolute trash. Not a single stat was anything close to "rocket speed."

At this rate, after fifty or sixty years of training, of course there would be progress.

But he didn't have that kind of time.

With Turtle Speed, even after three years, whether he could reach Jōnin level was anyone's guess.

Looking at the plain stats on his panel, he let out a heavy sigh.

Strength, speed—both painfully average.

His spirit power was the only thing above par. Probably thanks to his Uchiha bloodline.

But… what did this "0.5 Kakashi" even mean?

He asked the system mentally:

"System, what does 0.5 Kakashi mean?"

"In the original story, Hatake Kakashi is used as a measurement unit for clarity. One Kakashi equals his chakra level," the system replied.

Ryosuke immediately understood.

In the story, Kakashi's transplanted Sharingan couldn't be deactivated, so it constantly consumed chakra. Compared to a normal Jōnin, his chakra reserves were much smaller.

He could only use a handful of jutsu before running dry.

But in truth, Kakashi's chakra wasn't that low—just drained continuously by the Sharingan.

So Ryosuke pressed further:

"One Kakashi—does that mean the weakened Kakashi's chakra level, or his normal reserves?"

The system clearly grasped his meaning.

"Weakened."

Ryosuke nearly fell over.

As an Uchiha, how could he be this weak? Sure, he wasn't a Senju, but he shouldn't be this pathetic.

And he only had Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu. No genjutsu, nothing else.

With that kind of strength, forget saving the clan on the Night of the Massacre—

Surviving outside Konoha would be difficult enough.

Even ordinary civilians weren't truly safe in this world.

The lands beyond were filled with wandering samurai and rogue shinobi.

Even with his Sharingan active, he could very well lose to them.

He couldn't help but ask the system again:

"How do I increase training speed?"

"That requires the host to discover on his own."

On his own?

Ryosuke's head throbbed.

There wasn't even a hint.

Just as he was racking his brain for ways to grow stronger, a sweet, mechanical voice rang out once more:

"Host detected as a transmigrator. Binding Many Wives, Many Children System…"

"Binding successful."

Ryosuke froze at the sweet voice in his mind.

Another system?

This made two of them now.

Had he saved the galaxy in his past life or something?

To actually end up with two systems…

The first one felt a little unreliable, but this second one? This one sounded like the real deal.

He asked inwardly:"System, introduce yourself."

"This system is called the Many-Children, Many-Blessings System. Producing offspring will earn you reward chests."

"The chest tiers are: Common Chest, Fine Chest, Rare Chest, and Grand Chest."

"The stronger the partner you conceive with, the higher the chest quality."

"The host's first child will award a Rare Chest as a beginner's gift."

"A Grand Chest can contain S-rank jutsu, S-rank ninja tools, S-rank physical enhancements, 1 ton of chakra, Mangekyō Sharingan, or even Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."

Ryosuke was stunned.

Compared to the first system, this one sounded far more reliable.

All he had to do was have children to receive rewards—rewards of this caliber!

Still, one thing confused him.'What exactly is a ton of chakra?'

The sweet voice of the system answered:"Equivalent to 100 Kakashi-units of chakra."

Ryosuke's jaw dropped. A hundred Kakashi?

In the original story, Naruto with Kurama's chakra had roughly a hundred times Kakashi's reserves.

If he obtained that… wouldn't he instantly possess chakra on the level of a tailed beast?

A human-shaped bijū among the Uchiha.

And even if he didn't get chakra, a Mangekyō Sharingan—or Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan—would be more than enough to deal with those two traitors.

After all, the Uchiha's feud was essentially just irreconcilable conflict with Konoha's leadership.

If he could hold off those two on the Night of Massacre, stir up enough chaos, maybe even drag other clans into the flames, then there was no way the rest of Konoha would sit idle.

The village wasn't as united as a steel fortress.

In that case, the massacre might be averted.

If he could bring down the Hokage's inner circle afterward, the Uchiha could reestablish their power in the village.

Yes—this system was far more trustworthy than the last.

What mattered most now was producing an heir.

He was an Uchiha, after all. Finding a woman shouldn't be hard.

If worse came to worst, he could always go to the red-light district of Konoha… though unless absolutely necessary, he'd rather not.

Three years remained until the Night of Massacre. Plenty of time to maneuver.

With that thought, he allowed himself to relax.

No need to rush. He was in the Naruto world now—might as well take a proper look around.

Stepping outside, he saw ordinary Uchiha selling goods.

Some sold clothes, emblazoned with the clan crest on the back; others sold dango and other snacks.

This must be the commercial street that had sprung up after the clan was relocated here.

Ryosuke wandered leisurely.

It wasn't particularly prosperous, but all the basics for daily life were there.

These shopkeepers were ordinary folk—no ninjutsu, no taijutsu.

Ryosuke let out a deep sigh.

Even the non-combatant Uchiha, Konoha could no longer tolerate.

What a wretched village.

Anger welled up again, his face twisting with fury.

After a moment, he forced himself to leave the streets, heading out of the village to calm down.

Maybe it was the Uchiha blood in him, but it felt so easy to lose himself to rage.

Still—so be it.

He followed a dirt path into the outskirts, the land opening into wilderness.

Before long, he spotted two figures approaching from ahead.
