It wasn't long before a Konoha Jōnin led the group from the Cloud Village to the entrance of the Uchiha clan grounds.
"You can go in by yourselves from here."
He then hurried off toward the Hokage Building.
The thirteen Cloud ninjas immediately walked into the Uchiha territory.
Among them, the leader, the Jōnin Iji, was soon escorted into a meeting room.
Inside the meeting room, Uchiha Fugaku looked at this Cloud Jōnin and guessed that he had come to deliver the ransom; otherwise, there would be no reason for the other party to be here.
He spoke immediately.
"The ransom should have been delivered by now, I assume."
"Yes," Iji replied.
He took out a scroll from his chest, opened it, and spread it out with both hands.
He formed hand signs.
Poof. A cloud of white smoke appeared.
Immediately, a large chest appeared on top of the scroll.
"Clan Head Fugaku, please check it."
Looking at this large box of money, Fugaku felt helpless inside. If only they hadn't attacked Konoha back then... but there was no medicine for regret.
Uchiha Fugaku immediately had a few clansmen count it.
With such a large sum of money, he felt the other party might try to pull some tricks, so naturally, it had to be counted clearly.
He was also pleasantly surprised in his heart. With this money, the clan wouldn't need to worry about funding issues at all.
The clansmen who had previously volunteered to withdraw from the Military Police Force could also be given temporary financial support.
The Uchiha clansmen finished counting very quickly.
"Lord Clan Head, the amount is sufficient."
Fugaku smiled with satisfaction.
"Good. Let's leave it at that. Please return; I won't see you out."
Cloud ninjas were despicable; keeping them in the family grounds was a hidden danger, as they might try to steal their Uchiha clan's Sharingan.
However, Iji did not intend to leave just yet. Instead, he spoke up.
"Since this year's ransom has been paid, can you allow the Two-Tails Jinchūriki and Mabui to return to the village? They should have already helped your clan clarify the investigation."
The Two-Tails Jinchūriki was a very important combat asset to the village. Although she had performed poorly in this war, there was simply no way to deal with the powerful Uchiha clan.
But to other villages, she was still a powerful combat force.
And Mabui was the Fourth Raikage's secretary. She knew a large number of Cloud Village secrets, so naturally, she couldn't remain in the opponent's territory either.
Fugaku, however, shook his head at this request.
"I cannot make that decision. They are Uchiha Ryōsuke's captives. I will send someone to take you to ask him. If you want the people, you must get his consent."
Iji naturally knew of this person; he was the one who had defeated their Cloud Village.
He hadn't expected that he would still need that man's permission.
He hoped there wouldn't be any changes to the situation.
Soon, he arrived at Uchiha Ryōsuke's home.
When Uchiha Ryōsuke learned that this guy actually wanted to take away his captives, he felt a bit unhappy.
Yugito Nii and Mabui were two "human chargers," providing him with an unlimited increase in chakra volume.
If they left, where would he go to improve his chakra?
Importantly, Kurenai was currently pregnant, so naturally, they couldn't engage in intercourse.
And that fellow Yugao had indeed run away.
Of course, he could choose to go to the Konoha red light district, but who knew if the women in that place were clean? If he caught some disease, it would be a huge pain in the ass.
The two captives, however, were good women—great figures, and most importantly, durable.
Both of them had been more or less conquered by him, especially Mabui. No matter what move he proposed, she would cooperate.
She was so worry-free.
Seeing that the other party hadn't responded for a long time, Iji had a bad premonition in his heart.
With the other party hesitating like this, could it be that he didn't intend to release them? This would not be good news for the Cloud Village.
At this moment, Mabui, who was standing behind Ryōsuke, was the first to speak.
"I'm not going back."
Iji was started. She actually refused? Was there a necessity for her to stay?
Mabui winked at Iji, signaling him with her eyes.
She was staying, of course, to complete her revenge against Uchiha Ryōsuke: to give birth to a nest of Uchiha children. This was her wish.
She wasn't sure yet if she was pregnant.
Now, she was looking forward to the future when Uchiha Ryōsuke would see that the Cloud Village also had an Uchiha clan. Would he turn pale with fright? Just thinking about it made her feel happy. This was her retaliation for how he had wanted only toyed with her body.
Through Mabui's movements, Iji realized the other party had a plan, so this was the only way.
Yugito Nii, however, knew Mabui's intention. Mabui had told her about it long ago; it was indeed a great plan.
But she was more willing to stay here. If she returned to the village, she would suffer those strange, hateful gazes because she was a Jinchūriki.
She liked it here; it didn't feel as high-pressure as being in the village.
Moreover, her union with Uchiha Ryōsuke was actually quite enjoyable.
At first, she felt extremely ashamed, but now she liked staying by his side.
Because he was so attractive to her.
Those restless large hands of his also gave her a very comfortable feeling.
So, she spoke up.
"I'm not going back either."
Iji's expression changed again.
Yugito Nii wasn't going back either?
This was a Jinchūriki, a vital combat power for the village.
"How can this be allowed?"
Ryōsuke saw that both Mabui and Yugito Nii refused to return to the village, and his heart blossomed with joy. It seemed they had all been conquered by his "big stick."
"Neither of them wants to go back, so you can go back alone."
Iji looked terrible. Neither of these two was willing to return; it seemed the Fourth Raikage's orders could not be completed.
But what could he say?
The Cloud Village couldn't afford to provoke the person before him right now.
If he provoked him and made him angry, their entire group might end up dying here.
Mabui, however, was thinking about Yugito Nii's words. 'Could she have the same plan as me?'
'Truly worthy of being good sisters. If we give this guy children together, more people means more descendants. Plus her sister... that means a conservative estimate of three descendants with Uchiha bloodlines at once.'
'Although these would be his descendants, if they are in my hands, they are my descendants. They would definitely listen to me.'
'If the three of us go another round, that would be six Uchiha descendants. That's practically equivalent to a small clan.'
This could be considered the initial completion of the revenge plan against Uchiha Ryōsuke.
She cast a glance at Iji.
Iji, not knowing what to do, was considering whether to just go back directly.
Seeing such a gauze, he instantly had a guess in his heart. 'Could it be that these two are staying here to obtain intelligence on the Uchiha clan?'
And intelligence on this person was indeed very valuable.
"Then, I will take my leave."
