Tsunade looked at the young man before her. There was a maturity in him mixed with a touch of youth, and there was even a certain pull he had on her.
Tsunade knew exactly what that was.
However, the ideology of this Uchiha member was extremely dangerous.
A peace obtained through force would ultimately be short-lived and carried immense hidden risks. This was precisely why her grandfather, Senju Hashirama, despite possessing peerless strength, had always advocated for dialogue and sought mutual understanding.
Only through mutual understanding could true peace be achieved.
The Uchiha Ryōsuke before her, however, was a man just like Uchiha Madara.
And there was no second Senju Hashirama in this world to stop him.
Possessing such combat power at such a young age meant there was no one left in the ninja world capable of standing in his way.
As a member of the Senju Clan, it fell upon her, Tsunade, to subdue him. It just so happened that he harbored a certain desire for her.
She would use this to completely correct his way of thinking.
Though it required a great sacrifice, it was time for her to step forward.
With a serious expression, she spoke.
"Fine, I agree to become your woman. We will completely erase the long-standing grudge between our two clans, but you must also keep your promise to have the Uchiha Clan withdraw from the Fifth Hokage election."
Of course, her deeper motive was to seize control of the young man before her. She had the confidence and the assets to conquer this man until he followed her lead obediently.
Uchiha Ryōsuke felt a surge of joy in his heart. He hadn't expected Tsunade to actually agree.
He had originally thought she would resist much more, perhaps even requiring him to take more drastic measures. Now that Tsunade was willing, those measures were unnecessary.
Ryōsuke hadn't expected her to give in so easily. His heart was filled with delight.
Tsunade was a Kage-level powerhouse. If he could complete the system task, there would definitely be very generous rewards.
After the night had passed.
Tsunade looked at the man before her. "Remember your promise."
With a face full of smiles, Ryōsuke replied, "Don't worry, I naturally remember."
He was not a man who broke his word. Since he had promised Tsunade, he would naturally grant her the position of Fifth Hokage.
Even if Tsunade became the Fifth Hokage, there was nothing to worry about. For one, Tsunade was not the type to suppress the Uchiha Clan like the Third Hokage or Danzō did.
Tsunade was no fool.
Of course, Ryōsuke wasn't afraid anyway. If he had the power to give the position away, he had the power to take it back. His martial strength was not something Tsunade could compare to.
Hearing the man's promise, Tsunade finally felt her heart relax. This man was strong; surely he wouldn't be someone who went back on his word.
Her desire to become the Hokage wasn't just to suppress this man, but also to lead the village properly. Despite her usually boisterous and casual appearance, she was, after all, the direct descendant of the Senju Clan. Her personal ability and prestige needed no further explanation.
She had long been unable to stand the methods the Third Hokage and Danzō used in the village. She had to turn things around.
The human experiments had to be abolished. It was simply too inhumane.
The current Konoha no longer had any need to conduct human experiments to obtain power. The great war was over.
In her heart, she couldn't help but think of Dan Katō, and a new thought emerged.
Perhaps it was time for her to walk out of the shadows of Dan Katō and Senju Nawaki's deaths to find a new life. Perhaps Dan would have wanted her to do so as well.
Her heart hadn't felt this comfortable in a long time. Her eyelids felt heavy, and she unconsciously closed her eyes.
