When the children had finished dessert and made a nest on the couch with their siblings, the adults stepped outside and Illum demonstrated his unique divinity. It manifested like a tree rapidly growing from seed to sprout and then fashioned itself into a wooden sword that hummed with power.
"Right, I get it. You don't want to simply fight on nature's behalf, you want to simply be the means by which nature defends itself. I don't get it though, this divinity is insanely powerful, why would you let a stranger learn about it?"
"Powerful, I'm not sure I understand, it's true that the blades can carve through anything and they can also carve open divinity channels, not to mention heal those touched by it... But, I don't see it as powerful as other unique divinities."
"Well as a goodwill gesture, if you forgive my arrogance, I'll teach you the truth of it."
