Chapter 4 - 4

The tiny baby felt almost weightless in his hands. He dried the wet baby, wrapped her in a warm sweatshirt, and her crying gradually subsided.

At the same time, the information above the baby's head changed to [Lord: Inia (Infant)]

Looking at this short line of text, Chu Wang

A storm raged in my heart.

During the eight years he was raised by that couple, he was constantly told that the only way to realize his personal value was to enter the dungeon and help his parents defeat the boss in the future; a loser was not worthy of being their son.

Having grown up watching his parents copy various dungeon materials, Chu Wang clearly knew that each final boss was called the dungeon master. As for what the specific master was, it depended on the boss's world concept and its most unique power.

In other words, the fragile baby in his arms, who seemed so vulnerable that even a gust of wind could harm him, was also a dungeon master.

Chu Wang looked down at the baby in his arms.

Players and dungeon bosses seem to be two sides of the same coin, locked in a life-or-death struggle.

The sphere of influence Chu Wang traversed, and the philosophies instilled in him since childhood, all seemed to urge him to kill her before she grew up. Even if he couldn't bring himself to do it, he should immediately inform the other players and submit the information to the Refinement Realm System.

The fact that a young boss would appear in the Refinement Realm is something that players should be wary of.

  But...

The boy held the baby tightly, his expression eerily calm. His black right eye was hidden in the shadows, while his silver-gray heterochromatic pupil shimmered with a cold light, like an ice field under the sunlight.

But what to do? Compared to the dungeon master with whom he has no grudge, he seems to want the lives of those hypocritical and hateful adults even more.

If this is the key to hell, he can't wait to invite all the players to turn to ashes in the fire.

Chu Wang took Inya back with him, but he didn't tell the other children the truth.

Living as unregistered orphans is difficult enough; they have no energy left to consider anything beyond survival. They wouldn't understand the significance of Inya's identity, and knowing more would only make them more unsafe.

In the blink of an eye, several months have passed.

The baby, which was as small as a kitten at the time, had grown a little, but still appeared somewhat malnourished.

Chu Wang thought this might be because of her identity; the way she was born from an egg showed that she was not an ordinary child.

He had previously learned that some birds absorb the liquid and shell of their own eggs to supplement their nutrition, so he fed the liquid inside the eggshells to Inya, and ground the eggshells into powder, which he then mixed with water for her to eat.

Judging from the results, it seems to have been effective. Although the baby didn't drink milk like other children, relying on egg powder and food puree, he still grew healthily to the age of seven or eight months.

Perhaps his guess was correct. The dungeon master needs to eat other things to strengthen herself, and ordinary food is not as nutritious for her. So even though the children try their best to feed her the best things, Inia still doesn't seem to have become much stronger.

Chu Wang has not yet figured out what Inia actually needs, which raises another question.

He brought the baby back with the idea of opening Pandora's box. Because he knew a lot about various dungeons, the boy was even prepared for the night when Inia would extend six tentacles from her mouth and rip him open.

Several months passed and nothing happened; the baby was still a lovely baby.

Because he took care of her 24/7 for the first month, Inia was the most attached to him among all her older brothers and sisters.

If she doesn't see Chu Wang for a while, she will protest by wailing, which forces Chu Wang to adjust the baby's schedule so that she can sleep during the day. This way, he can go out to search for supplies while she is asleep and then rush back to be with her in time.

Thinking back to his initial idea of going to hell with everyone, and then looking at the little hell in front of him, wriggling its ass and struggling to crawl...

This development was not exactly the same as what he had imagined; in fact, it was completely unrelated.

  Did he make a mistake?

Chu Wang, whose darkening value was forced to pause, couldn't understand it at all, but his hands skillfully scooped the baby into his arms to prevent the frail Inia from crawling too much and hurting her body.

The baby, who had only taken a few steps, became unhappy as soon as she was restrained. She squirmed in the boy's arms, kicking her legs powerfully, clearly indicating her longing for freedom.

But her clueless older brother, as always, would only say with satisfaction, "Nia is getting more and more energetic, that's great."

Inya made two whimpers, about to burst into tears to express her dissatisfaction, when her cunning brother produced a handmade toy made from recycled plastic, successfully making her forget her injustice.

It's hard to say whether the boy will turn to the dark side in the future, but his six years of experience in coaxing orphans is truly remarkable! He completely overwhelmed Little Hell, leaving him utterly helpless.

That evening, the orphans gathered together for a hot dinner.

They cooked wild vegetables and rat meat with rainwater, and also heated up the leftovers they had collected, making it a very sumptuous meal .

The baby was fed a half-bag of cookies that Chu Wang had found at the recycling station. He soaked the cookies until they were soft and fed them to her.

The snacks were a rare treat, and every child except Inya was given a piece, but they all refused them.

"Let Inya eat, let her eat more, it's good for her to grow strong."

Chu Wang shook his head, "Baby can't eat too much of the same kind of food. You all eat quickly, so you can protect her when you're full."

The orphans believed that only then were they willing to accept the cookies, but each of them only took a small bite before reluctantly putting them away.

Chu Wang mashed the cooked wild vegetables and meat strips into a paste and fed it to Inia little by little.

He is still very weak and his abilities are limited, while Baby seems to be a level higher than him. If he can briefly see the state of others when he is at full power, when facing Inya, he has to concentrate fully on top of his full power, which is very energy-consuming.

Nevertheless, every day before going to sleep, Chu Wang would habitually use his ability to check Inia's detailed information.
