Tina moved quickly, and the next day, Anna received a court summons.
Anna wasn't surprised.
Her plagiarism scandal was all over the news, and if she didn't handle it soon, the public's outrage might die down, making it harder to stir up emotions later.
She glanced at the date on the summons. The court hearing was in three days, just enough time to wrap this up within a week.
As Anna was about to spend the next three days lounging at home, she suddenly received a call from an unknown number.
She didn't want to answer, but the caller was persistent, dialing three times in a row. Finally, Anna, with her usual good nature, picked up.
"Who is this?" she asked lazily.
At this point, she hoped it wasn't some internet sleuth who had found her number just to call and insult her.
"It's me, Daniel Henry." The man's voice sounded exhausted, as if he'd been through something significant.
Anna raised an eyebrow, surprised that Daniel dared to call her.
