"It will come when you least expect it. In the meantime, watch our training. Observing will teach you faster than questions," Tara explained.
Tara had chosen this place inside the manor grounds for their first real training in wolf form. It was hidden from sight, shielded from the neighbors' prying eyes. The area was still protected by the wards.
Shannon stood next to Tristan. He did not join them tonight. His task was to observe and give pointers.
"Shift," he ordered, his tone flat and firm.
The sounds of bones realigning and sinews stretching followed. Fur sprouted, claws dug into the wet earth. Within moments, the four stood in their wolf forms.
Tara's wolf was silver-grey streaked with black, her golden eyes steady. Her build was lean but strong, every movement measured. She looked seasoned, though she had not shifted once since marrying Troy.
