Chapter 74 - [LOU] 74: Sweeping Victory!

Beneath the moonlight.

Utaha Kasumigaoka, Megumi Kato, and Eriri Spencer Sawamura.

The three floated in midair, gazing down from above with calm authority.

At this moment, all three were clad in Underworld Armor.

Heavenly Flame Star: Utaha Kasumigaoka.

Earthly Shadow Star: Megumi Kato.

Earthly Wind Star: Eriri Spencer Sawamura.

Following Utaha's lead, both Megumi and Eriri had become Underworld Warriors.

Nothing surprising there. As comrades, choosing to become Underworld Warriors was only natural.

"Re-Estize Kingdom," Utaha said softly, her voice carrying unwavering resolve. "From here, we bring this world under His Majesty's dominion."

"Yes!" Megumi and Eriri nodded in unison.

It was time to begin.

In an instant, thirty Demon Stars radiated brilliant light before vanishing without a trace.

Immediately after, an endless army of undead skeletons began crawling from the earth below.

The Scourge of the Dead had descended upon this world once more.

The assault on the Re-Estize Kingdom?

It was almost too easy.

From start to finish, the three women directed from the rear, overseeing the grand strategy while the offensive proceeded without a hitch.

In just half a day, under the onslaught of forty disposable Underworld Warriors and an uncountable horde of undead skeletons, the entire kingdom fell.

And then…

"Ladies!"

"Greetings!"

The third princess of the kingdom, Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra, bowed slightly with refined elegance.

Even as a prisoner of war, she maintained her grace.

Beside Lakyus stood others: Evileye, Tia, Tina, and Gagaran, all members of the Blue Roses.

At this moment, the five women stood silently, awaiting their fate. They knew the three before them held absolute authority.

The undead skeleton army that had swept through the kingdom was beyond mortal resistance. And those forty figures in dark purple armor? Their mere presence was enough to make one tremble.

Even raising a weapon against them felt impossible.

"Hmm…" Utaha's gaze swept over the five women, nodding slightly.

As for Gagaran?

Well, His Majesty would likely find her lacking. Since she didn't meet the standard, Utaha wouldn't choose her. She could live out her days in this world as she pleased.

Utaha spoke calmly. "I have no patience for unnecessary words, nor do I enjoy wasting them."

"Your kingdom has been conquered by us."

"As of today, the Re-Estize Kingdom is no more. Its curtain has fallen, its story ended."

"My lady…" Lakyus, far from showing distress at her kingdom's fall, smiled and asked, "Do you have any further commands?"

"His Majesty will take control of the entire kingdom."

"No—more accurately, His Majesty will appoint stewards to govern this world."

"For you," Utaha continued, "obey, and you will witness a future far grander and more distant than you can imagine."

Utaha smiled as she explained to the five women.

"A grander future…"

"A more distant future…"

The women murmured, unsure how to respond.

His Majesty?

The thought alone told them that these warriors were backed by an even more terrifying existence.

Lakyus maintained her smile, asking softly, "My lady, may I ask what will become of the other nations in this world?"

"The others have already moved against them," Utaha replied. "His Majesty has given us ten days."

"You've performed well. You will be chosen to serve under His Majesty."

"However…" Utaha shook her head, eyeing the women. "You're not yet worthy. If you wish to catch His Majesty's eye, prove your qualifications."

"Understood!" Lakyus replied, her smile unwavering. "What must we do now?"

"Simple."

Snap.

Utaha snapped her fingers, and five kinship contracts materialized before the women.

"Sign these contracts," Utaha said calmly, "and you will naturally understand everything."

"Yes!" Lakyus signed the contract without hesitation, her decisiveness leaving the four Blue Roses members in stunned silence.

What was this?

A princess, acting so swiftly?

Regardless, once Lakyus signed the kinship contract, she instantly understood everything.

Alistair had embedded foundational knowledge within the contracts.

"I see…" Lakyus whispered, kneeling with hands clasped. "For His Supreme Majesty to deign to rule such a humble world… This is the world's greatest honor, yet an insult to His Majesty's grandeur!"

Utaha, Megumi, and Eriri watched Lakyus's fervor in silence.

They had suspected she might be a bit… intense. But this? This was beyond intense.

Oh well. No need to dwell on it.

Utaha raised a hand. "As kin, you may choose your path."

"Wish to live as you did before? Then do so."

"But if you don't…"

"You can strive to improve yourselves, to one day follow His Majesty in conquest across the multiverse."

She smiled at the Blue Roses members. "If you refuse to sign, believe me—death is only the beginning."

"After all, the Underworld's divine power generators could use more… contributors."

"The corrupt nobles of this world would make fine additions."

"And so would you."

The four women fell silent. Divine power generators? The name alone was terrifying.

Choices? What choices did they have? Best to sign the contracts. Resistance against such beings was futile.

As they signed, the four instantly understood everything.

In that moment, they bowed their heads in reverence.

The Re-Estize Kingdom had fallen completely.

Next was the Baharuth Empire.

Utaha, Megumi, and Eriri deliberated briefly.

The Baharuth Empire had only one figure of note: Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself, one of the Four Knights.

The rest? Barely qualified as kin.

Fine. Launch the attack.

And then? There was no "then." A day after the Re-Estize Kingdom's fall, the Baharuth Empire crumbled.

Two of the world's greatest nations—a kingdom and an empire—fell in a mere day and a half.

"Hmm…" Alistair and Persephone were leisurely exploring the world's natural beauty when they paused.

"I didn't expect Utaha, Megumi, and Eriri to be the fastest," Alistair said with a hint of amusement. "They've already taken the Re-Estize Kingdom and Baharuth Empire."

"And they've secured six new kin."

Persephone smiled. "Those three are working hard. Coming from ordinary worlds, they know they must strive harder."

"Even Eriri, with her fiery personality, trains diligently every day."

Persephone kept a close eye on each kin. Not all, of course, but Utaha, Megumi, and Eriri were among those she watched closely.

Utaha and Megumi's dedication was unquestionable. And Eriri, despite her temperament, was just as serious, never slacking in her efforts to improve.

"Next…" Alistair mused. "The Slane Theocracy, Roble Holy Kingdom, Dragonic Kingdom, and Nazarick's Great Tomb remain."

"Whatever. I don't like meddling too much. This world is theirs to handle. We'll just wait."

After a moment's thought, Alistair shook his head, content to leave it to his kin.

He and Persephone continued their journey, seeking something else.
