Noah wasn't actually going to have them arrested.
Noah's thumb wasn't pressing the call button, it was hovering just above it. The phone might be unlocked, might even have the police number ready, but the call wasn't connecting.
It was a threat. He was warning the Quinns.
'Get out now, before I actually do it'.
Levi studied Noah's profile, seeing the careful control in his expression. The alpha was giving the Quinns an escape route, a chance to retreat with some dignity intact rather than being dragged away in handcuffs.
'Jeez'. He might have done that for the omega.
Levi had turned his family's attempt to destroy Noah into his own debut. And he'd done it without lifting a finger, just by telling some truth in the most devastating way possible.
'From shadow to spotlight indeed' he thought, watching his family's retreat with cold satisfaction.
'And I didn't even have to kill anyone'.
