After the alpha left, Levi quickly stood up to grab his phone. It was now on the nightstand. He tried to turn it on, but it didn't budge.
He pressed the power button multiple times, but nothing. The screen stayed black.
He opened the drawer and pulled out his charger, plugged it in and watched the screen light up.
Zero percentage.
Levi blinked at the number. 'What the hell?' He clearly remembered checking it before heading out to meet Anna this morning, it was hundred percent.
He took his food and began to munch on it. His stomach loudly protested as he devoured his meal.
He was definitely hungry, consuming the food like he'd been starving for days. It seemed the heat of an omega was more draining than when an omega only accompanied an alpha through rut.
The scent of the food only made him hungrier, making his stomach ache as he wiped his mouth with the back of his palm.
The plate was half empty before he had the time to even pause to breathe.
