Chapter 78 - "When was this drafted?" Noah asked

"Our legal team. It simply formalizes the original succession plan you created..."

"When?" Noah cut him off.

Tony blinked, confused by the specificity of the question. "Excuse me?"

"When was this drafted?" Noah asked again, his finger tapping once on the bottom corner of the page.

Tony swallowed, glancing quickly at the footer of his own copy. "Revisions were finalized... three days ago."

Noah's eyes narrowed. "Three days ago."

He leaned back in his chair, not breaking eye contact with Damian. "This is a board resolution formalizing my succession plan. But you're asking me to confirm a plan you claim I created years ago. Using a document drafted three days after we lost the government contracts."

The silence in the room stretched thin.

"That's not a reaffirmation," Noah said, his voice dropping an octave, cold and distinct. "That's a new narrative presented as if it reflects my original intentions."
