Chapter 67 - Chapter 67 Another Change, Tony's Emotions Are Complicated!

Three days later.

"The more I look at you, the more familiar you feel."

Crossing his arms and looking at Steve Rogers sitting opposite him,

Tony Stark, holding his coffee, wore a cynical expression: "It's not enough to just look like someone; you have to act like that annoying guy too."

"I don't know who you're talking about."

Facing Tony Stark's teasing gaze,

Steve Rogers laughed.

Then he turned his head and looked at Su Che: "You know who he's talking about?"

"I don't know. Maybe a genius's thought process is different from us common folk."

"Otherwise, why would he, after getting 'trapped' on the first day, keep coming here almost every day since?"

"And he chooses to sit right across from us."

Responding to Steve's smile, Su Che said, "Who knows? A genius's brain wiring must be different from common people."

"Come on, man, you think I can't find out who you are?"

Taking off his sunglasses and placing them on the table, Tony Stark looked at the two of them and said, "Steve Rogers, a guy who's been missing, frozen for nearly seventy years."

"How about it, old record player? Can it still play records?"

"Do you feel like the new world is full of computers and phones that can play music anytime, making your record player obsolete?"

"I heard from J.A.R.V.I.S. that you two have been fishing together every day recently?"

"Wow, such a comfortable life must feel peaceful. After all, this world doesn't need an antique placed just anywhere anymore."

"Maybe besides fishing, you should also put on your symbolic blue uniform and do some aerobics for exercise."

"After all, fish are strong in the water. I'm worried your old body might not be able to reel them in."

Listening to Tony Stark spew these very "unpleasant" words in a rapid-fire manner,

Steve Rogers silently held his coffee cup for a moment.

"So, is this the bitter fruit you planted yourself?"

Looking at Su Che, Steve Rogers said with a self-deprecating laugh: "Although this matter isn't directly related to me,"

"I think Howard must have used my deeds for comparison, and it hurt him deeply."

"Otherwise, he wouldn't harbor such negative energy towards me!"

"Dammit!"

Hearing Steve's words, Tony Stark waved his hand: "Come on, you think too highly of yourself! Who am I? I'm Tony Stark. I could build circuit boards at four, assemble an engine at six."

"I'm the greatest genius and billionaire of this century. Would I be hurt because of you?"

"That seems about right."

Seeing Tony obviously get defensive when Steve mentioned Howard, yet still pretending to be nonchalant,

Su Che nodded, agreeing with Steve Rogers' words!

"Alright, let's not talk about this antique record player. What about you?"

Looking at Su Che, Tony Stark put down his coffee cup and asked, "What's your deal?"

"I can't believe this old record player spends every day with a common person."

"I've had J.A.R.V.I.S. analyze both of you. I'm certain neither of you are common."

Facing Tony Stark's curiosity,

Su Che gestured outside: "Instead of worrying about me, you might want to worry about your Stark Industries."

"Or rather, your Stark Industries CEO, Obadiah Stane, is being taken away."

"Huh?"

Hearing Su Che's words, Tony Stark instinctively turned his head to look out the window.

Across from the Blossom Woods Cafe, under the Stark Industries building, people who were clearly FBI agents were dragging a struggling Obadiah Stane into a car.

"Dammit!"

Seeing this scene, Tony Stark frowned, then got up and walked out of the coffee shop.

Obviously, he had just asked Pepper to help confirm something in Obadiah Stane's office.

Regarding his attack and kidnapping, was it orchestrated by Obadiah Stane?

Or was it about leaking the news of his movements?

Why hadn't he waited for Pepper to send the signal to start the investigation?

before Obadiah Stane was taken by these people?

One reason he came to this coffee shop was in case Pepper was discovered while investigating.

or faced some danger and pressed the button he'd given her.

Then Tony Stark felt sure he could ask Steve Rogers—whom he'd just been complaining about—for help.

After all, according to the old stories about Steve Rogers' character, combined with J.A.R.V.I.S.'s analysis of his past deeds,

no matter what complaints he suffered from Tony, when it was time to help, he would never stand by.

Additionally, although he didn't know what ability Su Che had, he was clearly not common.

And he was friends with Pepper—that damn Mr. Superman.

So if Pepper pressed the danger button,

he could immediately take both of them to rush over for support!

As a result, before Pepper pressed the button symbolizing "start," with no warning of danger,

this Obadiah Stane was actually taken away by these people?

What happened?

Could his guess be true? Was Obadiah Stane really the mastermind behind his kidnapping?

Going outside and watching the agents stuff Obadiah Stane into the car,

Tony Stark immediately stepped forward: "Hey, which department are you from? Why are you arresting the CEO of Stark Industries?"

Well, often playing dumb is the best way to get the information you want.

As for danger?

Come on, didn't he see the two guys sitting by the window in the Blossom Woods Cafe across the street watching him?

If these people were attackers and could take him down under the noses of these two annoying guys,

then Tony Stark would just accept his fate.

Damn, what kidnapper would break into Stark Industries in broad daylight and kidnap the CEO?

Clearly, these were official agents!

"Mr. Tony Stark, we are the FBI!"

The lead man in the black suit took out his badge and showed it to Tony.

"After our investigation, we found that the mastermind behind your kidnapping three months ago was this Obadiah Stane we are arresting!"

"Mr. Stark, a copy of our interrogation results will be sent to you for your records later."

"But for now, please don't interfere with our work!"

Hearing this from the FBI agent,

although Tony Stark was mentally prepared, looking at Obadiah Stane being pushed into the car,

he still felt a sense of disbelief.

Even though he asked Pepper to help investigate because he had doubts,

a part of Tony Stark hoped his guess was wrong.

After all, Obadiah Stane had been helping manage Stark Industries since the death of his father and mother.

He even regarded him as an uncle.

But now...

Stepping aside and watching Obadiah Stane being taken away by the FBI,

Tony Stark suddenly felt his emotions were very complicated!
