Inside the Hilton Hotel.
Noreen slowly woke up.
As her eyes opened and she looked around, she suddenly sat up.
"Don't move! You went out looking for me and almost got hit by a car. You fainted," Cyrille said quickly, pressing her back down.
Noreen felt a pounding headache, but deep inside, she vaguely remembered she hadn't actually fainted, she had been hit by a car.
And more than that, she seemed to recall seeing Cyrille's face inside that very car.
Thinking back to those images, she gasped. "Cyrille, I think I got hit by a car! And I saw you! You were in the car and didn't even look at me, then I blacked out!"
Cyrille's expression darkened for a second but quickly shifted into a smile. "You must have been dreaming. When I found you, you were lying on the ground. I didn't want your parents to worry, so I brought you here."
"Really?" Noreen blinked, doubt filling her eyes. Had it all just been a dream?
