Hussein quickly snapped back to reality and said, "Young Master, what are you doing here? The food is still warm; it can be served right away, just a moment longer."
Cassius's assessing gaze swept over Hussein's phone and then back to his face. He spoke slowly, "Thinking about reporting back to the old house?"
Hussein realized that the young master knew he had reported family matters to the old master, which had displeased him.
He quickly waved his hands and explained, "Young Master, I just don't want to see you and the young mistress arguing."
"My affairs with her are not something for Grandpa to worry about."
"I understand, Young Master. I won't tell the old master again."
With that, Cassius turned and walked out.
Watching Cassius's departing figure, Hussein let out a long sigh of relief.
It didn't matter if he got scolded by the young master; as long as the young master and the young mistress were happy, he was fine with anything.
