After parting ways with Nancy, Nevaeh wasted no time and headed straight to her grandfather's old house.
For the past few days, she had been spending every spare moment treating her grandfather with acupuncture and herbal remedies.
She knew that if she kept it up, the results would eventually show.
"Grandpa, how are you feeling today?" Nevaeh asked warmly as she stepped into the room with a smile.
But the moment she entered, she froze. Someone else was already there.

Nevaeh blinked in surprise before politely nodding. "Dr. Samuel."
Samuel returned her greeting with a kind smile.
"I'm doing well. My legs haven't been hurting as much lately. It's all thanks to my talented Nevaeh," her grandfather said proudly, then turned his gaze to Samuel. "She wants to participate in the competition at your medical school, so you'll have to take good care of her."
