Nevaeh had no idea why Cassius was throwing another tantrum and locking her up for no reason.
Still, compared to being in the same room with him, she felt much more at ease returning to her own guest room.
After a peaceful night's sleep, she woke early the next morning. When she saw no one around, she quietly slipped out.
As soon as she got downstairs, she spotted Hussein in the living room, giving instructions to the staff as they prepared breakfast.
The moment he saw her with her bag, he rushed over with concern.
"Good morning, Mrs. Bennett. Breakfast will be ready soon."
"No thanks. I'm going out," Nevaeh replied.
Hussein's expression turned uneasy. "But the young master said you're not allowed to go out."
Hearing this made Nevaeh's temper spark. "Hussein, please tell him that if he truly considers me Mrs. Bennett, then he should respect me properly. I'm his wife, not some caged bird. Whether I can go out or not is not his decision to make."
