Chapter 37:Dead Ends

Alexander's POV

The academy always looked its best in the dying light of day. The spires cast long shadows across the courtyard, and the ivy on the stone walls glowed gold as though the place itself wanted to pretend it wasn't rotting underneath. And let me tell you, it was fucking rotting. 

According to Micheal it was rotting but to me it was rotten already but let's move with what Michael said. 

I wasn't going to deny the fact that the structure of this academy was beautiful. It was beautiful and there were certain spots that could draw you in even more. And some spots that people used to shag up. Not that that was any of my concern though.

I lit a cigarette as I crossed the yard. I made sure the hall master wasn't aware that I wasn't in my room. Nit that he'd care either way. Rules seemed to bend whenever I was around...I wonder why. Maybe my charm was doing more than I thought it could do.
