A middle-aged man with his salt and pepper hair walked into the room. By his side, a petite woman held the man's arm. They were equally good-looking despite their age. The man swept his gaze around the place before finally stopping at the broken vase on the floor. "What's going on?"
Ning Yue shuddered. Her uncle's heavy tone of voice was making her regret her action. If only she knew that her uncle's family was around, she would not vent her frustration the moment she got home.
"Uncle." Ning Yue's voice trembled. "It's nothing."
"Then, why are you causing a scene when you get home?" Ning Li Ming asked.
"Daddy." Ning Yuan walked to her father's side with a sweet smile on her face. "Don't be angry. Sister Yue is usually cool-headed. I'm sure something happened."
"Brother-in-law, Ning Yuan is right," Ning Yue's mother, Gu Yue Chen, held her daughter's hand tightly. "Xiao Yue is usually cool-headed. I'm sure something happened to her at work."
