"Xiao Wei, what took you so long?" Fu Ming Shi asked the moment Ning Wei walked into the room.
"Mhm…" Wu Lian Jie nodded. "Where did you go? You don't know how worried Brother Fu is. If you showed up any later, he would call the police and report you as a missing person."
Ning Wei laughed. "You're exaggerating." Her eyes fell on Lin Zhu, who sat beside her manager. "Sorry, I was late. There's a phone call I have to take."
"No worries." Lin Zhu smiled. "We already ordered some dishes while you were not here." She pushed the menu on the table. "Take a look at the menu and see if there's anything you would like to add."
Ning Wei pulled the chair next to Lin Zhu and looked at the menu. After she went through the menu for a while, Ning Wei closed the menu and shook her head. "It's alright. I trust that everything you guys ordered should be delicious."
A server walked into the room to check on them. Seeing that Ning Wei did not intend to add more dishes, the server then left again.
