In the evening, Ning Wei left her apartment building again and headed to the place where she was supposed to meet with the boys. Once she parked her bike, Ning Wei habitually reached for her phone to check on some notifications.
On the group chat, Wu Lian Jie reported that he had arrived at the private room.
Meanwhile, both Ai Lun and Ding Chuan were still on their way.
Ning Wei replied to Wu Lian Jie's text first before heading into the building.
A staff member greeted her at the door. The staff gave her a lookover, noticing that her face was somewhat familiar.
Ning Wei reported the room number before the staff ushered her into the building.
"Ning Wei?"
She had just reached the corner when she heard someone calling her name. Ning Wei turned around, and the smile on her face stiffened.
It was a face that she knew, but did not want to see.
