Ba-thump. Ba-thump.
Ning Wei started to panic as she heard the loud sound of her heartbeat.
Or was that Feng An Yu's heartbeat?
She raised her head, wanting to look at Feng An Yu.
Before she could make her move, Feng An Yu took a step back and released his grip on her hand.
Then, Ning Wei felt pain in her forehead.
"Ouch!" Ning Wei rubbed the painful spot, realizing that Feng An Yu had just flicked her forehead with his finger. She looked at him, feeling aggrieved.
"Why are you so careless?" Feng An Yu asked. "You almost slipped just to turn around?" There was a hint of tease in his voice.
"I didn't expect that you would be right behind me," Ning Wei said. "I was shocked. I almost fell because I wanted to avoid the collision."
"Oh?" Feng An Yu raised a brow. "So, you're blaming me?" He started to laugh when he saw Ning Wei's expression changing again. Feng An Yu stretched his hand to touch Ning Wei's forehead. "Does it hurt?" He rubbed the spot gently with his thumb.
