Chapter 76: The dimensional gate opens 1
Over three months had passed since the Dimensional Gate, somehow activated by Elton when possessed by the inner voice, became active. During this period, the entire Pocket World saw a whirlwind of activity. Notably, all the major sects, clans, and organizations from various lands and kingdoms near Brawlmanica concentrated their forces within its territory, gathering before the gate. Similarly, powerful tribes, kingdoms, and organizations across other regions of the Pocket World prepared for the impending outcome. This included even the hidden might within the Whispering Expanse True World.
On one particular day, the immensely vast Dimensional Gate suddenly ceased its expansion, vaguely teetering on the verge of collapse. Even though everyone had been preparing for this moment, they could never be truly ready for the constant chaos. All sorts of new lands and monstrosities, with varying levels of strength, appeared out of nowhere. Even outside the Pocket World, across Brawlmanica and other territories, it became apparent that continuous beast tides of non-demonic monsters were wreaking havoc, requiring constant suppression.
Suddenly, a massive earthquake rippled through many lands, centered around Brawlmanica. The sound of glass cracking echoed, and a colossal spatial explosion loomed on the horizon.
"NOW! DO IT NOW! DON'T LET UP!!" shouted a man whose incredibly powerful aura would make even ordinary Mortal Shedding Realm experts quake in fear.
Many sects, clans, organizations, and tribes had their experts utilizing their own means to connect to a grand formation. This formation continuously crashed against the exploding and imploding Spatial Dimensional Gate. The skies rumbled, the earth shook, and the heavens quaked. The Spatial Gate glowed and fractured, bright light streaming for hundreds of miles.
Inside the Portable Spatial Cultivation Chamber, owned by the Soloman clan, Erica sat in place with her eyes closed. A heavy aura enveloped her, and ancient magical markings flitted throughout the room, plastered on her body and even her clothes. The tattoo-like magical symbol that had always been on the left side of her face, partly connecting to her left eye, now shone with a blazing, burning white light. That magical tattoo seemed to be the heart of the ancient magical inscriptions flowing everywhere. She was exuding a level of cultivation at the very peak of Silver Tier 5. Even though the earth was heavily quaking, neither she nor anything within the chamber moved at all, as if existing in an entirely different world. The moment numerous massive cracks appeared in the formation where the Soloman clan was located, her eyes suddenly snapped open, and then—

Just like that, she shattered through the bottleneck, leaping from Silver Tier 5 to Gold Tier 1!

Just a bit back in time, in another area, many clan members of the Aka Boshi no Tengan clan were gathered alongside a few disciples of the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect. Currently, in a private section amidst the growing earthquake and blinding, swelling energy caused by the Dimensional Gate, sat Christy Hucklebare. Less than a month ago, she had solidified her cultivation as a Young Exceptional Genius at the Gold Tier level. She sat in a cross-legged position, once more studying the gift that the one residing in Elton had given her a few years ago, before she became a true Bright Brilliant Blade Sect disciple.
As she deeply absorbed her thoughts into studying the method within, a huge cracking sound suddenly resonated from the area of the Dimensional Gate where the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect and the Aka Boshi no Tengan clan resided. As if suddenly connected to something within the cracks, she had a breakthrough in inspiration. Her Aka Boshi Tengan fully activated to its highest extent, allowing her to see into a unique domain and wield a chaotic energy essence filled with a flow of rainbow-colored starlight. Then, as if feeling a huge premonition from within, her eyes were suddenly directed toward the area where Erica was located, just moments before Erica broke through.
Christy secretly stepped out, but before she could leave, she was stopped by her mother, whose Aka Boshi Tengan eyes were always fully active and never strayed far from Christy.
"My beautiful darling Chrissy, why don't you tell Mama where you are headed right now?"
Christy, slightly dismayed, looked at her mother. "Please don't get in my way, Mother… This is my chance… To finally see him again after all these years. I don't have time!"
In confusion, Christy's mother looked in the direction of the Soloman clan. "Over there? Eh? But that can't be right. I thought that—"
Just before she could finish her sentence, Christy, with astonishing swiftness, utilized a move that greatly resembled Elton's White Star Sword Aura and White Star Speed Transformations combined. She shot off into the distance, much to her mother's shock. This also caused all the clan members and even a number of Bright Brilliant Blade Sect disciples to look over in shock, followed by major anxiety. Christy's father appeared in front of Christy's mother as if teleporting.
"We have to go after her!!" shouted a Sect Elder. A portion of them charged towards the Soloman clan's area.
By this time, Erica had completely broken through, and the Soloman clan showed their excitement. Not long after, they swiftly caught wind of their territory being intruded upon.
"You actually dare?!?" shouted a powerful elder of the clan as white magical flames erupted from his body.
Christy's movements were so fast that she swiftly bypassed him, ending up by Erica, who was making preparations to do something no one had noticed... until now.
"Lady Erica, I'm coming with you!! With us together, we should be able to swiftly hit our destination!! Let's move fast!!" shouted the frantic Christy.
Erica was in shock, seeing a person appear by her so swiftly. She noticed that many eyes were now locking onto them with mixed faces full of horror as the more experienced ones caught on to what Erica was planning.
"ERICA, STOP THIS AT ONCE!!" shouted a powerful booming voice, mighty enough to crush them many times over.
Erica glanced at Christy before unleashing her magic. "Fine!! I don't know what you're up to, but I can sense him on you!"
She spoke an incantation with her spirit at a speed fifteen times faster than what the human language can comprehend:
"White blaze born of Soloman name,
Through sacred thread and heaven's flame,
Let oath and fire braid my soul
To where the fated echoes roll.
Not by step nor sky I fly,
But through the blaze that does not lie.
Where destiny's gaze meets the light,
Let my flame cast aside the night.
—O Flames, Reveal the destined presence—"
White flames wrapped around her, enveloping both her and Christy. Christy, with her Aka Boshi Tengan, swiftly used her Chaotic Essence to cover and bind them together, protecting them from any deadly impacts and preventing separation.
"ERICA STOP!!!"
"CHRISTY!!! STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!"
A number of people, including Christy's father, rushed towards them, trying to stop them as fast as they possibly could. But in the end, it was too late by just a thread. Like a warping beam of light, both Christy's and Erica's bodies scattered and, with light speed, shot through the shattered barrier, completely disappearing.
"NOOOOO!!!!"
"CHRISTY!!!!"
"DAMNIT! We must hurry and break through these damnable barriers and catch them!"
The chaos that happened in that period, while noticed by quite a few in the surroundings, did not allow them the leisure to care, as they were almost on the brink of breaking through the barrier themselves.
Shia looked in the direction of the Soloman clan, where Christy had just shot off. A slightly bitter smile touched her lips as she sighed, already making preparations to find her with the others as soon as possible. "Christy, oh Christy," she murmured, "to do something so reckless for those friends of yours… How enviable."
Meanwhile, within the Soloman clan's territory, a man swiftly burst out of the cultivation chamber, his aura at the peak of Silver Tier 5, almost touching Gold Tier 1. John Soloman was utterly shocked by the events that had just unfolded. He balled his fist, his expression fierce, as he angrily gritted his teeth.
"Erica, oh Erica," he seethed. "To be so disobedient to the clan, and once more make an escape just for some… trash from a small, extinct branch of the family! Contemptible! I will make you come to your senses…"
In a gloomy area bustling with many disciples and leaders of the Night's Light Devouring Church, Kageha and Kuroha were secretly sneaking off with another high-status member of the church. They faded through the dim light, moving as if they were mere shadows.
"You two… This is as far as I can go, and I have to hurry back before the Church catches on," the Deacon whispered. "You must protect 'him' at all costs. It's good that he's managed to make good friends with such incredible people. This will be the first and only time I can use this method, due to that Erica girl breaking through into the Gold Tier, making further use impossible, so here goes."
"Yes, Deacon! We will do our best!" the twins said in unison, their expressions serious.
"Now, let's go!"
The Deacon wove hand seals, an item floating before him. That item swiftly began to morph, taking on the exact image of Erica as she had performed her White Blaze Reverse Summoning Magic skill. White flames began to circle around Kageha and Kuroha, who bowed deeply to the Deacon as he expended a tremendous amount of his Peak Gold Tier 4 power into the Erica-cloned item. It then completely shattered before the twins were suddenly teleported into the very spot where Erica and Christy had just been located, once again shocking and greatly infuriating the Soloman clan. Before the Soloman clan could retaliate and crush the intruders, both twins transformed into that same blazing light and shot into the crack, beginning their own teleportation from within.
