Chapter 242: The Black Devil and The Divine Eyes 2
The Shayleaf doll greatly expanded with hundreds upon hundreds to perhaps even over a thousand magical inscriptions and runes appearing all over its body with an immense amount of power. A giant magical formation quickly covered the entire battlefield but it was not completely noticed by those fighting.
The two Middle Stage Mortal Lords by this time were already in position and charged with devastating power as they began striking out against the Black Devil.

For the first time the Black Devil wore a grim expression as it had already noticed the two and quickly got into a sword stance. Then he completely disappeared as if teleporting as an enormous three way clash commenced. A giant explosion erupted and swallowed everything in the region. It was by this time that three powerful Middle Staged Mortal Lord auras erupted as three deadly explosive attacks rained down mostly targeting the two Middle Staged Mortal Lords attacking Zoro.
"Arrrggh!! Where the hell did you bastards come from!!" The demon Middle Staged Mortal Lord yelled in pain and fury with heavy injuries.
The Church Leader coughed up blood before quickly deciding to escape upon seeing such an unexpected turn of events. It was at this moment that Christy secretly appeared in the skies with her Kokon Tengan flaring with a dreadful might far more powerful than any other time since she acquired it.
Her gaze landed on everyone present with a crushing momentum. An illusory domain glowing with a rainbow colored light filled with a multitude of red stars appeared firing down from the skies creating a mass of thunderous explosions. Behind those falling stars the onlookers could only see the vague image of a beautiful woman with glowing eyes.
Directly behind her a colossal phantom of twin eyes unfurled into existence, dwarfing the space around it. Their molten crimson glow seethed with a heat that felt capable of warping reality itself. White hot sparks burst outward in cascading showers that spiraled into a vast tapestry of star etched patterns and densely encrypted magical runes that shifted like living scripture. Encircling her pupils a ghostly indigo halo spread outward like the endless void between galaxies, a silent cosmos straining to contain the overwhelming might locked within her awakened sight.
Shrieks of terror and pain loudly roared as many began quickly losing themselves within the divine gaze surrounded by exploding red stars. Many caught up too deeply into the gaze died on the spot because their minds told them they were heavily impacted by the devastating attacks. Whether demon, demonic cultivator, demonic beast, human, or whatever race or tribe they all fell. Only those far enough away, not within enough focus, or perhaps simply powerful enough could withstand it.
Before long cries of despair could be heard as someone or perhaps many people uttered those words aloud:
"D-divine eyes of a goddess..!"
At that moment the majestic gaze seemed to shine extra brilliantly with a mighty light as the horrifically injured Black Devil who partially reverted back into the form of Zoro roared intensely after being hit with a beam of light. Time seemed to come to nearly a complete halt at that moment.
Christy who stood in midair violently coughed as blood slowly poured from her eyes, but her expression remained fierce.
"All of you! Each one after the next, but I have to thank you for your aid in getting rid of those nuisances. Now it's your turn child!" The Black Devil roared as its aura exploded immensely while black ki rapidly began to swallow everything and smashed straight into Christy.
"As if I'd let you! Remove yourself from Big Brother Zoro you foul creature!" Christy said defiantly as her eyes shined even brighter, smashing in a powerful collision against the Black Devil stirring within Zoro's body. Her body trembled violently as rips began to appear on her skin and her eyes bled profusely, but her Kokon Tengan refused to waver.
Zoro coughed up blood violently as the Black Devil grimaced with a pained expression. Even so its lips curled into a vicious smile as a large projection of a black devil suddenly poured out from Zoro's body leaving him limping in pain barely conscious.
The large black devil entity roared with its four arms bulging as its hands clenched with incredible power. It fought through its pained expression as it glared at Christy with a mighty killing intent.
"Hahaha from here on I will devour you who chose to attempt to take me down within this domain of souls! You fought well little girl now BEGONE!" The Black Devil laughed haughtily as the air warped with immense power rivaling that of a Late Stage Mortal Lord. Black, red, purple, and white ki intermingled as an explosion of power wildly engulfed the area even outside of the soul domain where time appeared to be greatly accelerated compared to outside.
Christy gritted her teeth as a fleeting despair slowly began to overtake her. She was filled with disbelief as she continuously found it more and more difficult to stop the raging devil. She watched as the Black Devil seemingly warped with every step as it came closer and closer to her. Weakness gradually swept her body at a rapid rate leaving her bleeding more and more.
With one final bitter smile of despair she sighed as she muttered to herself, "I'm sorry Gege. I won't–cough–be able to continue my time with you but… –cough–I truly cherished the time we had. Gege, I…"
Before she could finish a thunderous sound erupted in the form of an incredibly loud crash. White lightning began to spark and surround Christy starting from the pendant Elton's inner voice had given her years ago after the mission within the stone forest. At a greatly accelerated rate the harsh white lightning began to swallow a large portion of the black ki as white rivers of flames surrounded them as if purifying the black ki.
The Black Devil leapt back greatly alarmed as its power became intense, staving off the realm of white flames and lightning that glittered like stars with Christy at its center.
"You… IT'S YOU!!!!! WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU?! IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU THAT MY HOST HAS BEEN ABLE TO BE SO REBELLIOUS AND SUPPRESS ME THE WAY HE HAS!" The Black Devil roared with a chilling fury that greatly shook the entire domain, wiping out a large portion of the white lightning for just a moment.
Christy in her exhaustion glanced at the figure floating beside her with excitement at this fleeting moment. "Gege!!! How? Gege you came to save m—"
"Hahahahaha!!! Foolish little devil actually daring to plot on this sage's woman? The hell do you think you are, ahhh?? This is the perfect chance to crush you insect." An arrogant and disdainful voice filled with unparalleled confidence laughed as the figure who spoke looked toward the Black Devil.
