Chapter 8 - Chapter 6: The Continental

(I wanna start off by saying big thanks to; ILHREXYI291101 for the idea of the Continental or something like it. It will start off with Sera getting necessary materials to start it before eventually she will make the hotel itself. But Sera will be the Big Boss)

 ~

Life is Good. Sera is bringing in an insane amount of money every minute of every day. She has a nice apartment, three supercars and she is just getting started. However, recently Sera has been itching to get her finger on the trigger. She wants to get her name out there. She wants some blood on her hands.

She starts off surfing the crime net, searching for any jobs, sites, anything to get her hands dirty. Unfortunately, Sera does not find anything. Suddenly, she has a Eureka moment. What if she created her own website. Her own agency. Where people could under specific circumstances post a job for anyone willing and for a certain amount of money or specific/secret currency. Of course she would have to set some ground rules.

First and foremost, while registered with the her agency, you have 'underworld privileges'. This means that while on a job or in a certain area (future hotel location), you are untouchable from any other agents registered.

Second, the currency the agency is going to use can only be used for 'underworld privileges' they can essentially buy. Outside of that, they are useless. Any payment for jobs must be, clean, washed money. Any money discovered to be dirty or acquired recently in a 'hot' manor, will result in the employer going Excommunicado.

Third and finally, Sera aka, the Big Boss gets a percentage of all profits made from any job. A modest 5-10% depending on what job it is. The higher risk for the assassin, the less Sera gets, if the payout if big but has low chance of risk, Sera gets a bigger percentage.

"Ok. This is good. I love this idea. My own assassin/criminal empire. Thank god for John Wick". Sera says to herself. The only problem she has now is how the fuck is she going to create this thing. She would need someone great with tech, with code anything like that. They would have to be a tech wiz.

Sera chuckles as she suddenly remembers a familiar face from GTA. 'Lester Crest'. She shakes her head in disbelief in how she didn't think of him sooner. Getting up and getting ready she walks down to her garage. Getting in her whine red Zentorno, she turns the engine on. Smiling at the familiar growl of the engine she makes her way to El Burro Heights.

About 20 mins later she pulls up outside the familiar bungalow she remembers visiting in game. 'Just need to remind myself, no matter what this little weasel says. Do not hit him'. Sera sighs as she gets out her car. Walking up to the door she spots the camera she knows Lester is watching from. Sticking up her middle finger to the camera she calls out. "Lester Crest. I have a proposition for you".

A familiar, high pitched voice comes from the camera. "And why should I give you the time of day"? Sera smirks to herself. "Oh, you could turn me away but I'm betting some people would love to know about a certain job in North Yankton about four years ago? Especially a certain unhinged psychopath in Sandy Shores"? Sera says to Lester clearly referencing Trevor Phillips. There is dead silence before an audible sigh is heard over the camera and a buzz is heard. "Thank you kindly" Sera says as she walks in.

Walking through the cramped house she gets to a room where a man in a wheelchair sits. "So what is it you want that you had to come all the way here and threaten me for"? Lester asks as he wheels around to face her. Sera stands there for a moment and says, "I have a proposition for you Lester. A brilliant, excellent idea that will net us a lot of money. I call it the Continental. An agency and website I plan to create on the Crime Net that basically acts a secret assassination network. With yours truly as its Founder. You agree to work with me Lester, I will make sure you net a considerable amount of the profits made".

Lester sits there for a moment, thinking to himself. It's been a while since he was in the game. If he's honest, he's always wanted to get back in. Planning, making big money all that jazz. He missed it. "Ok Seraphina Vega. You have yourself a deal". Lester continues when he notices Sera's confused expression at her name being mentioned. "What you think you're the only one who can do their research". Sera nods to herself. She should've expected that.

"So first and foremost. You're gonna need to get me some components to get this thing started. Nothing too crazy, just some cargo being moved, some tech that will make my job easier. That's all". Lester says. "I can do that. Send me the locations I'll be done with it soon. Also Lester, look up that old Casino by East Vinewood. send me the details of who currently owns it and what options we have. Pretty soon, that is gonna be my Continental". Lester nods as Sera walks out.
