Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

I was mesmerized by the beauty and advanced technology at the Anti-Solaris headquarters. I felt like I was in the future.

Chloe smiled and said, "Welcome to the Anti-Solaris headquarters... where we will change history."

Alexandria still looked angry and didn't want to talk to me. She stood next to Chloe, but didn't look at me. At that moment, I saw fish swimming in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, all the way up to the top of the underground headquarters.

I couldn't believe that the underground area, which I thought would be dark and gloomy, was actually more futuristic than the above-ground area.

"Wow, this is amazing!" I said to Chloe and Alexandria. "I don't believe I can see fish swimming here."

Chloe smiled and nodded. "Yes, our technology is very advanced. We have a system that can create an environment similar to nature, even underground."

I was fascinated by Chloe's explanation. I never imagined that technology could advance to this level. I felt like I was in a different world, where everything that was impossible became possible.

"How is this possible?" I asked Chloe. "How did you build an underwater headquarters inside the ocean?"

I questioned Chloe about how the Anti-Solaris headquarters could have an ocean inside it. Chloe smiled and explained that the place had been built since the Helix scientists left.

"They established a large headquarters at the bottom of the underground zone, reaching into the Pacific Ocean," she said. "There was a mountain in the ocean that was used as a large headquarters."

I was surprised by Chloe's explanation. I never imagined that the Anti-Solaris headquarters had such a long and complex history.

"So, this is not just an ordinary headquarters?" I asked Chloe.

"No," she replied. "The Anti-Solaris headquarters is the result of research and development by former Helix scientists who were very advanced. They had a vision to create a safe and strategic place to face future threats."

Chloe then smiled and explained that the former Helix scientists had also stolen one of the Core of Earth and Core of Water to create technology that could drain water under the Helix City.

"With this technology, they were able to create a vast and stable space underground, even under the ocean," she said. "So, this place is rarely known by the Helix Industries Corporation executives and other humans."

I was surprised by Chloe's explanation. I never imagined that the former Helix scientists had the ability and resources to create such technology. "So, the Core of Earth and Core of Water are very important in creating this technology?" I asked Chloe.

"Yes, very important," she replied. "The Core of Earth and Core of Water have enormous energy and capabilities. By stealing and using them, the former Helix scientists were able to create very advanced and complex technology."

I felt that this was a very big and dangerous secret. I couldn't imagine what would happen if such technology fell into the wrong hands.

I walked to an area filled with large robots and advanced technology. There, I saw pilots ready to operate the robots, as well as scientists working hard to develop new technology.

I also saw refugees from underground who had previously given up on the state of the world, but now they had a better life in this headquarters. They looked happy and satisfied with their new life.

I saw one of the refugees enjoying a delicious and warm meal. He smiled and thanked Chloe and her team for helping them. I also saw children playing happily, without worrying about the state of the world outside. This headquarters was truly a safe and comfortable place for them.

I felt that this was a real example of how technology and cooperation could make a big difference in human lives.

Me, Alexandria, and Chloe took the elevator again to go to the room where we would meet Mr. Owl. When the elevator door opened, Alexandria and I were surprised and amazed by the large room in front of us. The room had a high ceiling and walls decorated with elegant decorations.

I saw a man with black hair, wearing a black robe, and behaving strangely. He had a strong and mysterious aura, making me feel a little scared. Chloe bowed her head to the man, making Alexandria and me confused.

"Who is this man?" Alexandria asked in a low voice.

Chloe didn't answer, but the man started speaking in a heavy and authoritative voice. "Welcome, Ethan and Alexandria," he said. "I am Mr. Owl, the true leader of Anti-Solaris."

I felt a little surprised by the introduction. I didn't know what to expect from this meeting, but I was sure that Mr. Owl had big plans for Anti-Solaris.

Chloe introduced us to Mr. Owl with respect, making me feel that Mr. Owl was a very important person in this organization.

Alexandria and I were shocked to see Mr. Owl, who looked like an emo guy with a black robe and cold emotions. He wasn't wearing glasses, but his sharp gaze made me feel like I was being watched.

Mr. Owl asked everyone in the room to gather at a long table with a heavy voice and cold face. Alexandria and I followed Mr. Owl's orders and walked towards the long table. Chloe also followed behind us, with a respectful face towards Mr. Owl.

When we all gathered at the long table, Mr. Owl started speaking in a heavy and authoritative voice. "There are some things we need to discuss," he said.

I felt a little tense hearing Mr. Owl's words. I didn't know what would be discussed, but I was sure that it would be something important and influential for Anti-Solaris.

Alexandria also looked serious, with a face full of attention. Chloe just bowed her head, waiting for instructions from Mr. Owl.

Alexandria and I were shocked to hear the news about Jian Chen's death. We both didn't know anything about it, and hearing that he was killed by the Black Division Investigator of Helix Industries Corporation made me feel shocked.

Mr. Owl stood in front of the table, with a face that remained cold and a heavy voice. "Jian Chen was killed by the Black Division Investigator," he said. "We have received information that they are responsible for his death."

I felt angry and sad upon hearing the news. Jian Chen was our teacher, and we both loved him dearly. Hearing that he was killed by our enemy made me want to seek revenge. Alexandria also looked angry and sad. She bit her lip, with tears welling up in her eyes.

"How could this happen?" she asked in a low voice.

Mr. Owl didn't answer Alexandria's question. He just stared at us both with sharp eyes. "We will avenge Jian Chen's death," he said. "And we will make Helix Industries Corporation pay for their crimes."

Mr. Owl then mentioned that Overseer was hiding something in the Izu Islands. I wasn't too concerned about that right now, as Jian Chen's death still felt very heavy on me. So before I could process the information about the Izu Islands, I wanted to know why Mr. Owl seemed to be downplaying Jian Chen's death.

I stopped the conversation with my anger, slamming my hand on the table. "How can you talk about other things after Jian Chen's been killed?" I asked loudly, walking towards Mr. Owl.

I was upset because Mr. Owl seemed to be downplaying Jian Chen's death, a kind and loving teacher who had guided and helped me during this time. I felt that Mr. Owl didn't understand how precious Jian Chen was to me.

"You're just talking about Overseer and the Izu Islands, without paying attention to Jian Chen's death," I said loudly. "How can you be so cold and uncaring?"

Mr. Owl stared at me with sharp eyes, unaffected by my anger. I didn't know what was on his mind, but I was sure that I wouldn't let this go.
