Chapter 8 - Two-Pillar

Of course, Naruto wouldn't explain any of this to them. The most important thing right now was to gain more experience points.

"N-Naruto-kun."

A timid voice came from the other side, very soft, tinged with shyness, but exceptionally pleasant.

Naruto didn't need to guess who was speaking. It was Hinata, with her short, choppy hairstyle.

"Hinata, you're here."

Naruto turned to look. Hinata's small face was flushed, and she came into view. Her shy, fair, and adorable face made Naruto want to pinch her cheeks.

The experience points prompt appeared, and Naruto's previously happy expression faltered slightly, replaced by a frown.

The experience orb around Hinata was now only the size of a ping pong ball. He wondered if something unexpected would happen if it continued to shrink.

To avoid accidentally hurting Hinata, Naruto decided not to interact with her for now, until he could test the specifics of the experience points.

So, Naruto winked at Hinata and turned, heading in the direction of the school, disappearing through the school gates in moments.

"Eh?" Hinata didn't understand Naruto's wink, taking it as a normal blink.

Now, seeing him suddenly leave, she was a little confused, unsure what had happened or why he had left so abruptly. This made her feel somewhat dejected, as if she had done something wrong.

Sakura and Ino, who were nearby, were also bewildered, not understanding why Naruto had suddenly left.

But they didn't bother to dwell on it, quickly walking towards the school, leaving Hinata standing alone, lost in thought as she wondered if she had made a mistake.

Inside the Ninja Academy.

Naruto walked through the school hallway, his eyes constantly scanning the classrooms, observing the students around him. Unfortunately, not a single experience orb appeared on them, which left him somewhat disappointed.

But then.

The moment he entered the classroom, several experience orbs appeared brightly before his eyes, varying in size.

And the people who possessed these experience orbs were indeed characters from the anime's storyline, such as Inuzuka Kiba, Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Choji, Aburame Shino, and Sasuke, among others.

Among these individuals, Sasuke's experience orb was the largest, even surpassing those of Sakura and Hinata, clearly indicating his significant importance.

"So it is," Naruto thought inwardly, finally confirming that only characters from the storyline had experience orbs around them, and he had a complete understanding.

Now only two questions remained: What would happen after the experience orbs disappeared, and whether they could be replenished? These were the problems Naruto faced.

But that wasn't the priority right now. Earning experience points was the most important thing. He strode towards Sasuke and quickly reached him.

"What do you want?" Sasuke asked, his arms crossed, his voice cold.

As the strongest student in the class, Sasuke didn't care about his classmates. In his eyes, they weren't worthy of being his opponents. He spoke with an air of aloof superiority.

Seeing this, Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Can't I sit here if I don't have anything to say? Is the school yours?"

"You..."

Sasuke was choked by the words, and his cool demeanor vanished.

[Experience +1]

"See, you can't say anything, right? No argument," Naruto muttered.

"Hmph! I don't want to talk to you, dead last." Sasuke retorted, continuing to act cool.

"Dead last?"

Naruto chuckled. Before, he intentionally hid his abilities, making him seem like the dead last to others. However, his Three Body Techniques, hand seals, taijutsu, and Chakra had already reached a very high level.

Now, with the Saiyan bloodline added, beating Sasuke was like beating a child, without any pressure at all. Of course, Naruto was too lazy to explain, because his goal was experience points.

So he continued to smile and said, "So what if I'm dead last? At least it's better than you, Mr. Show-Off, Two-Pillar."

"Mr. Show-Off, Two-Pillar?!"

Sasuke's face turned green when he heard those words. Ever since Naruto explained the meaning of those words to him last time, he swore he never wanted to hear them again.

The main point was that it was fine to be called Two-Pillar, but to be called Mr. Show-Off, Two-Pillar was just too infuriating. Frustrated, Sasuke glared at Naruto.

"Shut up, you dead last."

[Experience +1]

"I won't shut up. I'll call you Two-Pillar, the Two-Pillar who failed to act cool." Naruto retorted without hesitation.

"What? The Two-Pillar who failed to act cool?"

Sasuke was so angry he wanted to hit someone. In just a few moments, he had been upgraded to the Two-Pillar who failed to act cool. This was truly infuriating.

Angrily, Sasuke fought back without showing any weakness, "Dead last, the dead last who can't even beat a girl."

[Experience +1]

"Oh ho?"

Naruto raised an eyebrow. In the original story, Sasuke was a stubborn, edgy kid who didn't listen to anyone. Now, he seemed to have matured. However, Naruto wasn't concerned about that; earning experience points was the priority.

His experience points had already exceeded 10, so he could exchange them for another drop of Saiyan blood. Delighted, he couldn't help but continue to jab at him.

"As a man, as a classmate, you don't care about the bonds of friendship. Just to look cool, when practicing with the girls in the class, you even made one of them cry. Do you think that's something to be proud of? She's not an enemy! You're so much stronger than her, and you still made her cry. Do you think that's right?"

Huh?!

Sasuke was speechless. Although he hadn't been trying to show off, he hadn't intended to make her cry. The key was that going all out during practice was the right thing to do, wasn't it? But why did Naruto's words sound so reasonable? And ever since he'd made that girl cry, she hadn't admired him anymore. She no longer followed him around like she used to.

This outcome made Sasuke want to retort, but he couldn't think of anything to say. He could only change the subject. "As a member of the Uchiha Clan, my excellence is beyond your imagination."

Several experience point notifications appeared in a row. Naruto scanned the classroom and saw experience points floating above the heads of several people, including Sakura and Ino, who had just entered.

Apparently, his interaction with Sasuke had triggered a chain reaction, earning him even more experience points. This boosted Naruto's confidence, and he continued,

"Since you think you're better than me, then carve a wooden sculpture for me to see, like this one."

Naruto took out a wooden sculpture from his pocket. The sculpture was of Hinata, and it looked incredibly lifelike and realistic.

In his previous life, he had been a sculptor and painter, so he was very skilled in these areas. Coupled with the meticulous Chakra control he had been practicing for years, he sculpted and painted every day, and could be said to have reached a very high level of skill.

Now, using a wooden sculpture to show up Sasuke, a complete outsider, was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

So, when Naruto asked Sasuke to carve a wooden sculpture, he stunned him. Sasuke was speechless for a long time.

"Naruto, did you carve this? It's so realistic." Ino walked over and looked at the statue in Naruto's hand, her eyes shining.

"It really is realistic, exactly the same. If she saw it, she'd definitely be surprised."

Sakura also came over, admiring the shy and lifelike appearance of the wooden carving.

The classmates around also ran over to watch, exclaiming in admiration while also providing Naruto with experience points.

Only Sasuke remained silent, his face a bit dark. He couldn't help it; the occasional look of disdain Naruto threw his way made him very depressed. He couldn't carve wood, after all.
