"Ugh, this is so boring. Is our team leader even reliable? I have a really bad feeling about this."
After waiting for nearly an hour, the team leader for Team 7 still hadn't arrived, and Sakura lay bored on the table.
So much time had passed that the initial excitement of being on the same team as Naruto and Sasuke had worn off.
If it weren't for the location and Sasuke being present as a beacon, Sakura would have considered letting Naruto "conquer" her first.
Naruto was also yawning repeatedly. In fact, he wanted to pull Sakura to help him cultivate his pets in the back.
But he wasn't sure if the Third Hokage was spying with his crystal ball at this moment, so he decided against it.
Fortunately, after waiting a while longer, Kakashi finally arrived late.
He peeked in from outside, glanced at the bored trio, and smiled slightly. "Hey, what's up?"
"How should I put it... my first impression of you is pretty awful!" Naruto said coldly, returning the words from the original story.
He wasn't bored enough to pull any blackboard eraser pranks; besides, they wouldn't even faze Kakashi.
If he'd put something harmful, it would be too easy to dodge, so he didn't do any pranks in the end.
"Mm-hm!" Sakura nodded in agreement.
If she wasn't afraid of offending Kakashi and getting on his bad side, she would have added a few sarcastic remarks of her own.
"Hmph!" Sasuke crossed his arms, his hands supporting his chin as he snorted coldly.
He'd been holding this pose for nearly two hours. He wondered if his arms were numb yet.
"Cough!" Kakashi coughed awkwardly, changing the subject. "Alright, you've waited long enough. Follow me now!"
Soon, the three of them followed Kakashi to a rooftop.
Kakashi crossed his arms in front of him, leaning against the railing, and said, "Alright, let's start with introductions!"
Facing him was the three-person team, sitting on the steps. Sakura raised her hand and asked, "What should we say for introductions?"
"Things like what you like, what you dislike, your future dreams, and your interests, things like that."
Kakashi shrugged his shoulders, looking indifferent. "Well, I'll start with myself. My name is Kakashi Hatake. What I like and dislike, I don't feel like telling you. As for future dreams… well, I have many interests."
Sakura quipped, "So we only learned his name!"
"Now it's your turn. Let's start with you!" Kakashi looked at Naruto first.
It seemed he actually cared about Naruto, a subconscious action.
Naruto didn't decline and thought for a moment before saying, "I'm Naruto Uzumaki. I like all beautiful people and things, I hate ugly things, and my hobbies are collecting everything I like. My dream is to become the Fifth Hokage, but it's more of a short-term goal, rather than a dream."
Everyone didn't pay much attention to the earlier part, not knowing what Naruto was hinting at.
But when they heard him say he wanted to become the 'Fifth Hokage', and that it was a short-term goal, everyone showed surprised expressions, including Sasuke, who had been keeping a straight face and staying out of it all.
"The Fifth Hokage, huh? That's not so easy," Kakashi chuckled.
The Third Hokage was already old and wouldn't last much longer; the Fifth Hokage would be coming into power soon.
But Naruto had just graduated from the academy. In Kakashi's opinion, even if Naruto had the talent, it was almost impossible to advance to the level required to become the Fifth Hokage before that.
However, Kakashi didn't say anything discouraging, just said in a perfunctory manner, "Well, good luck!"
"I'm Sakura Haruno!"
Next up was Sakura. She blushed and glanced at Naruto before continuing, "What I like… I mean, the person I like is… and my hobbies are… and my future dream… Ah!"
In the end, she acted exactly like in the original story, just with Naruto as the object of her affections.
Then it was Sasuke's turn, and he was just as gloomy as in the original. He disliked many things and didn't really like anything.
As for his dream, it was just something he said casually; he wasn't interested in it.
But Sasuke had an ambition: to revive the Uchiha clan and kill a certain man.
"Revive the clan, huh?" Naruto glanced at Sasuke and said, "Are you prepared to become a guy with kidney problems?"
"Huh?" Sasuke looked bewildered, clearly not understanding.
Naruto said matter-of-factly, "What's the primary goal of reviving a clan? It's to have a thriving population! It's just you in the Uchiha clan now, so you need to marry more wives and have more children, right?"
Sasuke instinctively wanted to retort, but when he thought about it, it seemed to make a lot of sense.
Sasuke couldn't help but fall into thought, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Kakashi on the opposite side was immediately covered in black lines. Where did this child of his teacher learn all this nonsense?
Kakashi said helplessly, "Sasuke, don't listen to Naruto's nonsense…"
"No, he's right!"
Sasuke interrupted Kakashi's words, snapped out of his deep thought, and said firmly, "Just relying on myself, even if I become stronger, it won't count as reviving the clan. I need more clan members!"
"Wow, how cool! Sasuke… oh no, Sasuke, I support you!" Naruto silently gave Sasuke a thumbs up, then waved his fist and said, "I've decided, I want to revive a clan too, I won't lose to you!"
"Hmph, dead last, what clan are you going to revitalize?" Sasuke was secretly pleased by Naruto's words, but his face was full of tsundere.
In his heart, only the Uchiha were worthy of being called a clan.
Naruto had been alone since childhood; what clan could he possibly revitalize?
"Then it won't be called revitalizing, I'll create my own clan! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, so I'll create an Uzumaki Clan! In short, I definitely won't lose to you!" Naruto looked like a hot-blooded idiot.
But this was a great provocation to Sasuke's pride, and lightning flashed in his eyes as he looked at Naruto.
Naruto shrunk back, hugging Sakura's waist, and said proudly, "Sakura-chan is already mine, I got her before you, you idiot Sasuke!"
Saying this, he even stuck his tongue out at Sasuke.
"Tch!"
Sasuke's face darkened, and he turned his head away with a displeased pout, inwardly cursing: Total idiot!
But at this moment, he was somewhat regretful. Back in the ninja academy, so many girls had pursued him; why hadn't he nurtured those relationships?
Now that they'd left the academy, everyone had gone their separate ways. It would be difficult to meet up again.
This immediately put him in a difficult spot, and Sasuke fell into contemplation once more.
Kakashi across from him opened his mouth several times, but couldn't get a word in. The situation had escalated to the point where he was stunned.
This class... was going to be difficult to handle!
