The abandoned street was littered with debris, shattered glass, and twisted car wreckage. The zombie's eyes were cloudy, its skin gray and decaying, with open sores oozing pus.
A girl, Lara, was running down the street, desperate to find a safe place. She spotted a house and rushed towards it, hoping to escape the zombies. Suddenly, she fell down, and a horde of zombies gave chase.
Just as all hope seemed lost, a police officer appeared out of nowhere, firing his gun and distracting the zombies. "Go!" he shouted to Lara. "Run!"
Lara didn't hesitate. She scrambled to her feet and sprinted towards the house. She managed to slip inside just as the zombies were about to catch up. She locked the door behind her and leaned against it, panting.
But her relief was short-lived. She soon heard strange noises coming from the basement. Lara's heart racing, she slowly made her way downstairs. That's when she spotted a baseball bat, and a plan formed in her mind.
As she approached the basement, she saw a shadowy figure. Without hesitation, she swung the bat. But to her surprise, the figure wasn't a zombie. It was a survivor.
"Sorry," Lara said, helping the stranger to his feet. "I thought you were a zombie."
"I'm Eren," the stranger replied, rubbing his head. "And you are...?"
"Lara," she introduced herself. "I came here to escape the zombies."
Eren nodded, and Lara asked, "How did you survive the zombie attacks?"
Eren's expression turned somber. "I'm from a village," he began. "It was a happy place, where everyone looked out for each other. But one day, everything changed."
He told Lara about the day his village was infected, and how he managed to survive with his sister. Lara listened intently, her eyes wide with horror.
As Eren finished his story, Lara realized that they had to work together to survive. "We need to find a way to save your sister," she said. "But first, we need to understand what's causing this zombie apocalypse."
