Chapter 5 - The plan 1

"Your attention is needed the king want to discuss something with you"devilin side man ezekiel said.

Devilin immediately vanished, and Ezekiel followed him. The king was seated in his courtroom.

"Welcome, my son," he said with a smile.

A man with a beard and wrinkles with his blue eyes, which resembled Devilin's, had a gentler appearance, his face marked by time with deep creases and delicate lines.

His once-silver hair now sparse, cascading down to his shoulders. Piercing blue eyes seem to hold a treasury of knowledge and life experiences. A long white beard cascades to his chest, while he dons a luxurious velvet robe with elaborate golden thread designs, signifying his regal stature.

Atop his head rests a grand crown, adorned with precious jewels, and in his weathered hand, a golden scepter shows the signs of many years of use. Despite his advanced age, an air of quiet authority and wisdom surrounds him, commanding respect.

His face carved of long experience and wisdom. His intense gaze feels like a scrutiny of those who meet it.

"I want to inform you about the marriage for the peace treaty; we will be going to the human world. The kingdom is in country F," King Avic stated. "It's just a matter of marrying a human girl; there shouldn't be any problem."

"Thank you, my son," he added. Devilin simply stared at his father with a blank expression before disappearing from the room. "Do you think he will ever forgive me?" King Avic asked Ezekiel.

"Your Majesty, he will surely come around," Ezekiel replied.

(Back to immortal realm).

Princess Elizabeth told Acia, "I believe there's a way for us to escape." Acia asked eagerly,

"How?"

"The prince of the immortal world is seeking a bride from the human realm due to concerns about humans being killed and the fear that many have turned into possessed immortals.

"Additionally, supernatural beings have been hunting humans. King Lucia arranged a meeting with the king of the immortal world to discuss a peace treaty, and he won't want the immortals to find out is treating you bad or he is going to kill you,any slightest mistake is a risk to king Lucian".

"And he mentioned that his son would marry a bride from the human world. To avoid raising suspicion, he plans for you to stay at the main palace to create the appearance that he is treating the old king's daughter properly" Elizabeth explained.

"We need to come up with a plan for our escape, Princess Elizabeth said.

You can't go anywhere with me Elizabeth; I don't want to put your life at risk. But don't worry, I have a plan in mind acia responded.

"Princess, you can't go by yourself. You're like a sister to me, and I don't want to put your life in danger," Elizabeth looked at with so much emotions.

"And I don't want your life to be at risk either," Acia replied.

"But if you come with me now, what if they discover us? You could be killed. I know my fate, and there's only a 50% chance I'll even be able to escape," she added.

"You know how harsh things can be, so I can devise a flawless plan," Princess Elizabeth remarked.

"But..."

"No," Elizabeth interrupted. "I will definitely accompany you." She stood up and embraced Acia warmily .

"I love you sister" Elizabeth smiled.

"I love you too,we will always stand together no matter what" acia smiled feeling happy inside

Elizabeth then heard footsteps.

"Shh, Princess, I believe someone is approaching," Elizabeth whispered to Acia.

Knock, knock.

"I think it's Prince Alexander or Princess Inyan; they're the only ones who knock before entering," Elizabeth said.

She quickly went to open the door and saw that it was indeed Prince Alexander.

"Prince Alexander," she said, bowing.

"Is Acia awake?" he asked politely.

"Yes, Prince Alex," Elizabeth replied, closing the door behind him.

Alexander entered and saw Acia swinging her legs and humming a tune.

When she looked up and noticed Alex watching her, she exclaimed,

"Alex, you're here!"

Alex's expression softened, but there was also a hint of concern. Acia noticed his worried look.

He walked over to her, sat down beside her, and gently stroked her hair. She looked up at him and blushed.

As a prince he could make anyone fall at one glance,His face is striking, with defined features including a sharp jawline, prominent cheekbones, and intense black eyes that seem to gaze right into you. His dark blond hair falls in an artfully messy manner around his face, enhancing his charming smile. Dressed in tailored clothing, he wears a pristine white shirt, a navy blue coat embellished with gold, and formal black trousers. A gleaming silver crown sits atop his head, symbolizing his royal position. Confidence, grace, and remarkable kindness radiate from him as he interacted with acia.

His countenance exudes a sense of composed authority with a touch of warmth and compassion in his eyes. Sitting but still, he carries himself with poise and a relaxed aura that belies his royal status, making him approachable yet undoubtedly attention-worthy.

"What's wrong? Why do you look so worried?" Acia asked.

"Acia, I'm worried about you," Alex replied.

"Don't worry about me," she said with a smile.

"Silly girl, how could I bear to see you dead when I know my father is planning to kill you in a few days?" he replied sadly.

"I'll run away. Elizabeth and I will come up with a good plan and escape far away."

"I have another idea, Acia."

"What is it?" she asked.

"Let's elope to a distant place where no one can find us," he said, surprising Acia.

"Alex... you're royalty; you can't just run away with me," Acia responded.

"But you're also royalty because of my father. Your life is like this—you've become an orphan. Do you want me to live with that for the rest of my life?

"But what about the kingdom?" Acia asked.

"Is it the throne that isn't rightfully mine, or the one built on the blood of innocent people, like your parents?"

"No, you can't, Alex. I don't want to involve you; this is my own issue," Acia said, her expression troubled.

"I can't stay here any longer. I've arranged for some guards and bought a private yacht—no one will find out. Besides, this kingdom is drenched in blood."

Acia looked down sadly.

Acia look up alex said and pulled her chin and said, "How can you rule a kingdom where innocent people are killed every day, like my father did? I can't, Acia."

She noticed Alex determination and couldn't argue against it.

"I need to go now to prepare for the visit of Prince Devilin and the King and Queen. Don't worry, Acia; their visit is a blessing for us. Father won't realize you're missing and he will also thinks I'm attending to something, he mentioned."

"But won't it seem suspicious? Why would the crown prince be absent at such an event?" Prince Alex was interrupted by Elizabeth.

"Yes, but I have my own plans," Alex replied.

"Be very careful," Acia warned.

"One more thing, Acia: make sure to keep a low profile during the bouquet . I'll send someone to you, but avoid Prince Devilin at all costs," Alex explained.

"Elizabeth, make sure acia is always by your side; there mustn't be any mistakes," Alex instructed.

"I told Dad I would bring you clothes that would help you unnoticeable," Alex said.

"Inyan loves Prince Devilin; she told me he's her childhood sweetheart," acia spoked.

"She's still just a child," Alex replied.

"Whether he chooses her or not is up to fate, as long as he doesn't chose you, and I know he won't."

"I'm just worried about the rumors surrounding him," Elizabeth said.

"I've heard he's ruthless, and I'm afraid she's too sweet to get involved with someone like that," Acia added.

"I told Inyan, but she's so obsessed with him."

"I believe Inyan is mature enough to make her own decisions; she's smart, so don't worry," Acia reassured him.

"Alright, if you say so," he replied as he walked to the door. "Call me if you need anything," he said, handing a phone to Elizabeth, who was next to him.

"The king will definitely say something if he sees me with the phone," she replied.

"Don't worry, Acia, I've got your back," Alex said before leaving.

...

A few minutes later, a purple dress was delivered to her.

"This is for you, princess," Elizabeth said with a smile.

When they opened the door, they were amazed. Although the dress looked simple, it was beautiful in its own way. The vibrant, jewel-toned purple gown exuded effortless elegance. Its lightweight, airy fabric flowed gracefully, and the subtle embroidery added a touch of sophistication. Cap sleeves and a high neckline completed the perfect look.

Although the outfit appears simple, it still highlights her beauty, complementing her purple eyes.

"Wow, even without makeup, you're already stunning, princess. Even though Prince Alex chose a modest dress to downplay your beauty, you still shine brightly."

"Don't flatter me," she replied with a smile.

"Elizabeth, let's get going. I don't want the king to drag me out of here; you know how violent he can be."

Elizabeth smiled and opened the door.

They stepped out of the shabby palace.

"It'll be a long walk, my princess," Elizabeth said sadly.

"They did this intentionally, knowing it was a long distance and not providing a car. While I'm used to it, you, princess, will manage"Elizabeth said sadly.

They exited the rundown palace, and it took them 30 minutes to reach the main palace. She took a deep breath, recalling all the memories she had kept buried inside. The guards opened the door, and she and Elizabeth stepped inside, looking weary from the long walk. Acia glanced around and remarked to Elizabeth how much the palace had changed; the new cars and everything else were completely different from what belonged to her parents. She sighed as she approached the entrance and noticed everyone waiting for her, feeling overwhelmed.

"What took you so long?" she heard Queen Yashti, her uncle's wife, say.

"You want to embarrass me, King Lucian? replied.

"They are already on their way," he added. "I don't have time for you," he frowned at her.

My instructions are to be obeyed, Acia. First, do not look up; always look down. Never reply. I will respond to you, but if I want you to reply, I will give you a sign. Do you understand? he said sternly.

"Yes, King Lucian," Acia replied.

"Father, don't be too harsh on her," Inyan pleaded.

"She is your cousin, not your sister," queen Yashti retorted coldly.

"Enough! Let's compose ourselves; we're going to the airport now. They will be landing soon."

They entered their respective royal cars, but Alex took Acia along with him.

The airport was cleared for the powerful royal family that was about to arrive.

One by one, everyone arrived at the airport to a warm welcome from the guards and maids who were lined up, ready to greet the guests from the immortal realm. King Lucian,Queen Yashti and floria stood side by side, while Alexander, Inyan, and Acia anxiously waited on the other side.

Inyan held Acia's hand. "Don't worry, I'm sure he will choose you."

"Do you think I look beautiful enough?" Inyan asked.

"Yes, you look stunning," Acia smiled at her.

Inyan posssses a dainty heart-shaped face defined by prominent cheekbones, a petite nose, and full lips that form a continual gentle smile. Her eyes exude deep, shining eyes. The cascade of her raven-black hair falls in gentle waves down her back, beautifully framing her face against her porcelain skin. She adorns herself with elegant, flowing gowns in soft pastel hues that complement her delicate features, with a likeness for a pale lavender gown adorned with intricate silver embroidery and delicate lace trim. A delicate silver necklace with a sparkling crystal pendant graces her neck. Her presence radiates gentleness, reflecting her deep love for all living beings.

Floria stood next to her mother. "I hope the prince likes me instead of my sister."

"Don't worry, Floria; he will surely like you," Yashti reassured her daughter.

Her daughter floria will surely remember her when she enters the immortal world but inyan is to delicate.

The immortal family's private jet landed, and everyone stood there, nervous and unable to breathe.

The flight attendant opened the door, and the king and queen stepped out first, waving. Then the prince emerged, exuding a powerful aura.

Acia bowed her head, though she was tempted to look up. But when she finally did, her breath caught in her throat. "Ice cold king," she said in shock.
