Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 - Encountering her fiancé

The next day, Ruhi decided to eat in her famous restaurant since, after the apocalypse, she couldn't enjoy it.

Just as she was about to sit,

"Ruhi, " someone called.

Ruhi looked up, a young man was standing there, from his looks, he was quite handsome, with 6 feet height and short black hair, muscular build, but the arrogance in her brow diminished slightly. Now, he looked slightly angry, and a person who could easily erupt.

He looked at her in irritation and questioned her. She was his personal assistant. "Where were you? It's been so long since I came back, so why didn't you come to meet me?

Ruhi, completely bewildered, looked at him with a confused face.

Not understanding what he means.

Only after looking at him seriously, Ruhi came back to her senses and realised that he was her fiancé. During her hoarding, she completely forgot about him.

She berated herself. How can you forget this person, 'Ruhi? In your previous life, he completely ruined your life.'

She should hurriedly break the engagement.

Ruhi said, " Why should I come to your house? Who do you think I am, an oracle?

Have you called me, messaged me that you are coming, or you might to busy, spending time with my sister?"

She wanted to say 'sleep with her sister', but she controlled herself and did not want anything to go wrong, while she found a way to break off the engagement.

"Y... you, what nonsense are you spouting? Who can you talk to your future husband like that?"His face flushed with anger.

Ruhi remained silent and took a sip of her coffee. He stood there, proud and confident, waiting for her apology.

Ruhi still didn't reply; his temper flared up, and he slammed his fist on the table and growled, "What, you don't want to marry me now? "Apologize to me now or forget about this marriage."

Making everyone in the restaurant look in their direction, but seeing that they are a couple, everyone withdrew their eyes.

Hearing that, she wanted to say 'yes,' but she bit her lips hard, trying not to utter these words.

'Haa... what do you think you are, BTS V, that every girl would be dying to marry you?' she muttered inwardly.

She knew very well what kind of person her fiancé was. He was a typical male lead of a cliche romance novel, who hated her, the female lead, like a plague, but when the female lead decided to leave, he suddenly realized that he still loved her and wanted her.

'Typical male chauvinistic tendencies,' she thought with disgust. "What... That girl doesn't like me anymore; this girl suddenly became interested!" What a joke!'

She had no interest in him, not planning to play that chasing game with him. Yet, for him, he was the most handsome guy, and every girl loved him.

He waited for her answer, knowing that this was her switch; every time he used to say that, she would be begging and pleading with him not to do that.

Confident she would come to him, the man waited expectantly for an apology. However, the girl simply sat on the chair indifferently while checking her phone.

He stood there, proud and certain she would soon throw herself at his feet and beg, but she never did.

He waited 5sec …..

10 sec…,

1 minute…, 2 minutes…

He frowned, very displeased, and his face turned a mottled shade of green after realizing that, after so much time, she still had not done anything.

This time, he really looked at her and realized that Ruhi had changed.

She didn't look timid and submissive as before, and he couldn't even find that love and enthusiasm in her eyes. Unknowingly, a restless energy seemed to radiate from him, his jaw clenching and unclenching.

Before he can scold further,

He was attracted by her disdainful and indifferent gaze.

Ruhi looked at that man, who looked like a clown while standing with his arms crossed, and ignored him, and checked the menu.

Did he think that I was still the previous Ruhi who loved him wholeheartedly? If it were not for the hoarding of supplies, she would have made him regret even being born in this world.

'Maybe what Siya said was true, that Ruhi had changed and she had become a completely different person, more rebellious and sharp-tongued,' he thought to himself.

Many people around them looked at him with disdain, while many tried to control their laughter.

He was still pondering her changes just then.

Ding ding…

His phone rang…. he glanced at it, it was her mother's message," Where were you? Everyone was waiting for you. What took you so long?

He rubbed his brows; he had totally forgotten why he came here to have dinner with his family.

After seeing Ruhi here alone, while he was waiting for her to come to him, he completely lost it.

He suppressed his anger and said in a cold voice, "Let's go. Mom was waiting for us.

This time, she didn't argue and followed him; maybe she found a way to talk about the engagement.
