The air hung heavy with tension,as the shouting continued.
"I can take care of my self"Andrea yelled from behind Liam,clenching her fist.
Anger cursing through her veins as she moved past him to face Lucas
"I know feisty,but I'll like to do it for you"he whispered into her ear,his lips curving into a smirk as he gently pushed Andrea aside facing the man in front of him.
"Still hitting women,I see"
"This has nothing to do with you brother,Leave"Lucas yelled,his face blazing with anger.
Lucas and Liam never got along.
He always thought Liam was a man who thought too highly of himself and even though,Liam had given Lucas few opportunities to pick him self up,he still hated him deeply.
Liam was always the golden child,earning himself praises from every angel while he,was the rotten apple even when they were younger.
Lucas could still remember how everyone advised him to be like his brother,to take lessons from his brother,how could he not remember? When the words constantly ringed in his head,reminding him of how much of a failure he is.
"Why can't you be more like your junior brother"his mother would say,her eyes filled with admiration for Liam
"Liam is so good at playing basketball,you should take some lessons" his best friend,Andrew would say back then
"Your younger brother got a scholarship,if you work hard enough like him,you might get one too"His teacher would say

No matter how Lucas tried,he couldn't stop the smoke of jealously that kept spreading through his heart,every time he saw Liam on the news being praised.
Lucas believes he deserves everything Liam owns but fate had been too cruel to hand it to him.
Even now,staring at his brother,Liam,he couldn't help the jealousy.
His brother was dressed in an expensive black tailored suit while he was dressed in his only pair of clothes,his brother's tanned skin glowed while he looked like he hadn't had a bath in days,his brother's piercing black eyes looked bright while his own eyes looks like they haven't been closed in months.
It's not fair. He thought to himself as he diverted his attention away from the lady to his brother.
Liam opened his mouth to speak but was cut off before words could fly out.
"Omg,you're Liam Walton"a girl yelled from the crowd in the restaurant making Liam divert his gaze to them.
They were about ten people staring at him,pointing the camera of their phones towards him as they anticipated for his next move.
Liam Walton was a public figure,who always appeared perfect in the eyes of everyone,he couldn't let the mask crack,he couldn't let them see him break.
With that in mind,his lips curled into a smile thinking of how to turn the situation in his favor.
He turned away from the camera and shot his brother a smile.
"Dear brother,this has everything to do with me because Andrea here,is my finance"Liam blurted,the word 'finance' rolling smoothly off his tongue.
He shot Andrea a wink and pulled her to his side,her fruity scent filling his nostrils
Loud gasp echoed through the restaurant's wall,the whispers piercing through the air.
Lucas face furrowed with confusion looking even more confused than Andrea's face.
Lucas never though Liam could get a girlfriend talk less of a freaking finance.

"Your fiancé here was reported for sexual assort"Lucas blurted,a smirk playing on his lips as he watched Liam's smile morph into a frown
Loud gasped escaped the crowd as whispers took over the room
"You son of a bitch"Andrea spat angrily,her eyes narrowing towards Lucas
"Apparently,the only bitch here is you,my poor girl haven't been the same,since you locked her in the bathroom and tried to have your way with her"Lucas announced,his eyes filled with mischief.
The crowd erupted into a fit of whispers and snickers
"How can Liam Walton be with a girl like her?"one asked,eyeing Andrea with disgust
"She is disgusting"Another spat angrily
"She should be locked behind bars"Another uttered bitterly
Tears welled up in Andrea's eyes as fear started to creep in,she knows she is innocent but how will she prove it to all this people when she can't even prove it to Mr Jackson?
Her toughness faded,replaced with the fear of what the people in front of her might do to her.
Yes,she is innocent but who will believe a 25 year old lady over a 16 year old child?
"That enough"Liam yelled,his voice filling the room as he wrapped his arm around Andrea's waist
"Accusing an innocent woman? Is this what the world is now?"he asked,looking through the crowd. They all had their gaze fixed on the floor as he spoke
"Look at her"Liam yelled,pointing to Andrea, everybody's gaze lingering on her.
"I've known her for four years and my Andrea would never do such a thing,she can't even hurt a fly"
"That's not what my daughter and principal Jackson says"Lucas said,holding Liam's gaze.
This was very petty of him but all his life,he never got what he wanted.
He needs to see Liam break in front of the cameras,he needs to see Liam lose it.
"Where is your proof? This is the 21st century,children gets bribed to say things"Liam replied smoothly,his facial features getting relaxed as he watched Lucas face drop
Lucas turns to the crowd,unable to accept defeat.
"Are you going to believe a 25 year old over a 16 year old?" Lucas asked through the crowd,his eyes filled with desperation
"I didn't do it,I would never do it"Andrea's tiny voice sounded from beside Liam as she tried,to stop the tears welling up in her eyes from falling.
She won't let this break her,she is a strong lady and she would not be accused wrongly
"Deep breaths,you're doing great"Liam whispered into her ear,giving her a warm smile,she nodded and took a deep breath.
She moved away from Liam's side and faced the crowd in front of her,shooting Lucas an angry glare.
"I've been working in crown high for years,underpaid but still working diligently,I love kids and that's why I became a teacher. To impact language and change the lives of this kids,I would never assault a child"Andrea stated,looking behind her to see a smiling Liam,who nodded his head encouragingly.
She couldn't understand why,but seeing him smile and look at her with so much admiration made her mind feel at ease. It made her feel like no matter what happened,he will be by her side,cheering her on and that made her mind feel at rest.
Was she going crazy? He was a freaking billionaire,who didn't care about anybody but himself.
She shouldn't be having such thoughts.
"Amazing speech"Lucas said,snapping Andrea out of her thoughts,his tone dripping with sarcasm as he clapped his hands
"It doesn't change the fact that you assaulted my daughter"he blurted
"You're right"Andrea agreed,a small smile playing on her lips as she brought out a small device from the pocket of her dress.
"But this does"she pointed to the device in hand,her hand pushing a small button by the side.
Before leaving home this afternoon,charlotte gave Andrea a small recording device,telling her to keep it on at all times.
Andrea deemed the device irrelevant and useless because she thought she could reason with Andrea's father but now,she realizes,it's impossible to reason with a man like Lucas.
She said charlotte,a silent prayer as Lucas voice sounded out of the device.
"Andrea is a kid,she was bribed and influenced,you could get a job somewhere else" a voice played coming from the device in hand making the crowd gasp
Beads of sweat,started to form on Lucas forehead as he grabbed the device in Andrea's hand and tossed it on the floor.
The loud crack echoing through the restaurant
"There is no more proof,you're going to rot in jail"Lucas spat
"The only thing that would rot is you,if you don't get out of here"Liam's voice boomed from behind Andrea as he made long steps towards her,wrapping his hand around her waist as if claiming her as his.
Lucas looked around and saw the crowd with cameras in their hands.
He would have beaten the blonde bitch,if not for all the preying eyes and cameras.
The last thing he needed right now was to sleep behind bars,as much as it hurts,he needs to let this go.
With his head hung low,he turned around and exited the restaurant.
A huge smile evident on Andrea's lips.
Fueled by happiness,she pulls Liam into a hug,her small hand squeezing his torso tightly,his strong cologne and after shave invading her nostrils.
"We did it"she whispered
"No,you did it"he corrected as she disengaged from the hug.
Andrea's eyes bubbled with excitement as she scanned Liam's facial features,she couldn't help but feel amused.
How could a man look this beautiful?
Her eyes landed on his lips and she wondered how they would feel against hers.
As if,he could read her thoughts,his lips crashed on hers
