He asked, his tone curious but cautious.
Vivian met his gaze and replied, "Nah, that's just how I look."
His voice sounded casual, yet his eyes told a different story.

"I planned to ask you some questions," he said finally, tightening his grip on the great sword, "but I doubt you'd answer honestly."
