Lynn questioned as he looked around and even I wanted answers. But I knew that sitting here won't get me any.
So I needed to let the black mass out and ask him what happened. Before that, I needed to cover other grounds first.
"Lynn, do you trust me? Then, I want you to take a vow for me to keep whatever is going to happen here a secret. Do you think you can do that for me?"
I asked the hunter who entered the dungeon with me and he looked confused at first.
"Huh—? Why do I need to… alright, I understand. I won't ask any questions and I trust you completely. Do what you need to. Here, I will give you a vow as well."
Lynn was truly committed to helping me and his vow felt sincere. My system registered his promise not to tell anyone what happened here and I finally took out the black mass from my pocket.
