Anger, confusion and disappointment were some of the things that Justin and his friends were feeling. Since Justin found the old photo of them in his mother's room which revealed the connection that they had with each other long before meeting at Washington Heights high school. A connection that Justin's mother and Director Stone seemed to be keeping secret for years.
"Man, I knew your mom and Mr. Stone were keeping secrets but... I just wasn't expecting this." Max voiced, still puzzled by the situation.
"How, ….why would they keep something like this a secret?" Chloe asked, just as confused.
"More importantly, how is it that none of us remember knowing each other back then, I don't think we could forget something like that so easily." Kade stated, making a great point.
"Did you confront your mother about this?" Max asked.
"No, I thought that I should show you guys first, plus I didn't feel like hearing any more lies." Justin replied.
"Well I'm gonna need some answers, and I'm sure you want more answers than any of us." Chloe told Justin.
"So I guess the question is how do we get the answers we need when the only two people who have the answers are just going to lie to us?" Kade asked.
"What if we all confronted my mom together, she might tell us what we want if we're all there." Justin suggested.
"You sure you want to do that?" Max asked him.
"I don't have a choice, my mom has been keeping too many secrets from me, like who she really is, what really happened with my dad on 7/15, and now this and god knows what else she's keeping from me; I'm getting sick of it. Its like… its like I can't trust her anymore." Justin started venting.
The three of them thought it over in their heads and came to a decision.
"Ok let's do it." Max spoke up.
"Okay, it might be the only way." Chloe added in agreement.
"Alright I'm in, its not like I wanna be the odd one out." Kade decided as he completed the unanimous decision.
"Alright then, let's go." Justin spoke as they followed him to his house.
AT JUSTIN'S HOUSE
"What're you guys doing here? I thought you all were going to the movies." Sarah spoke while she was watching television in the living room as Justin and his friends walked through the front door.
Justin and his friends remained silent even though Sarah had just asked a question and Justin seemed upset about something.
"What's wrong?" Sarah asked after noticing the rising tension.
"Mom, we need to talk." Justin started calmly as he took out the picture he found in her room.
"You mind explaining this?" He continued as he put the picture in front of her.
Sarah's cheerful mood and facial expressions suddenly changed after she sat up in the sofa to look at the picture.
"You went through my things? you had no right to do that!" Sarah spoke getting upset.
"No, no, no, don't try to turn this around on me. Plus I only did it because you were acting suspicious when you hid the picture as soon as I walked in the room. I guess I'm not the only one you're keeping secrets from." Justin stopped her, causing Sarah to look at his friends faces and see their upset.
She sighed in defeat and spoke up.
"Alright, it's a long story and it's already late, so you guys can come over tomorrow and you'll get the answers that you want." Sarah proposed.
After looking at each other, The four of them agreed and Justin's friends decided to leave.
"Wait, you guys didn't tell Amethyst about any of this, did you?" Sarah asked, stopping them in their tracks.
"No, we didn't." Justin answered.
"Oh, good." She voiced in relieved.
Justin's friends left through the front door to go home while Justin started marching upstairs to his room.
"Um, …good night." Sarah said as Justin went into his room and closed the door behind him without saying a word.
Sarah knew that he had every right to be angry and sighed as the tension went down. Then she took out her phone and began dialing Director Stone's number. She needed to get the situation under control.
"Hey Jayce, ...we have a problem." Sarah spoke into the phone.
THE NEXT DAY
It was finally morning and Max, Chloe and Kade made their way over to Justin's house to get some answers. Justin heard knocking at his door and went to see who it was. He opened the door groggily, still tired from the recent events.
"Oh, hey guys." Justin greeted them as he realized it was his friends and let them inside.
As they stepped through the front door, they were surprised by who was waiting for them in the living room with Sarah.
"Good morning you three." Director Stone spoke calmly.
"Hey Chloe, Justin ...you've really grown up." Sofia spoke next.
"Mom? Mr. Stone? what are you guys doing here…?" Chloe asked confused.
"Aunt Sofia, never thought I'd see you again, …actually I was hoping that I would never see you again." Justin replied, showing high amounts of hostility to his aunt.
He hadn't forgotten how his aunt had treated him and his mom years ago.
"Justin, you shouldn't be angry at your aunt." Sarah warned.
"How could you say that?!" Justin started to raise his voice.
His patience had ran out.
"Justin, please calm down, we can explain." Sarah pleaded, trying to soothe him.
"Sarah tells me that you've all found out a bit of information that has made you distrustful of us and I'm afraid that's my fault, which is why I think that whatever answers you want to hear … I think you should hear them from me." Director Stone explained.
"So you'll tell us everything that we want to know?" Justin asked to clarify.
"I'll tell you if its related, anything that isn't is just for me and your mother to know, along with some A.D.A agents." Director Stone clarified.
"Fair enough, ...for now." Justin accepted.
"Start with this picture." Justin demanded, as he threw the picture on the coffee table.
"I haven't seen this picture of you guys in years, was it you who took the picture?" Director Stone asked Sarah as he was feeling nostalgic.
"Yeah I did." Sarah answered.
"You guys can reminisce later." Justin rudely interrupted.
"Justin!" Sarah exclaimed, surprised by his behavior.
"Its alright Sarah," Director Stone mediated realizing that he should get to the point.
"As you can see from what's written on the back of the picture, 'family, forever together', you guys were really close, just like a family. Justin and Max you were like brothers, you two were almost inseparable." He began.
"Family? brothers? so if that's the case why don't we remember anything about each other before meeting a few weeks ago?" Justin cut him off.
"I'm afraid that's my doing." Director Stone admitted.
Justin and his friends looked very confused after hearing Director Stone's statement.
"After the 7/15 incident, we all became targets of anyone who wanted your father's research since we've been involved in some of his projects, like me, Sofia and your mother and the parents of the other children in this picture." Director Stone explained further.
"Wait, what?!" Kade questioned in surprise.
"Hold on, you mean me and Kade's parents were involved with Justin's father?" Max asked to ensure he heard right.
"More than that, we were all friends, but since we became targets. Justin's father warned us the lives of our children would also be put in danger, and he was right. They managed to get to one of the kids." Director Stone answered as he pointed at one of the kids in the picture.
"When you say, …get to, you mean they killed him?" Chloe asked worried.
"We have reason to believe so, his name was Derek Yeager, he and his family were attacked. Luckily the parents survived but they took Derek and we were never able to find him ...so it's probably safe to assume the worst, you were all heart broken when you heard he died." Sofia added.
"Which again brings me back to my question, why don't we remember him or each other?" Justin asked again.
"Hold on Justin, he's getting to that." Sarah assured her son.
"Right, well after his funeral we realized that if they could get to him, they could get to the rest of you. So we all decided to leave New York and go our separate ways. Which means we had to separate you guys but since you are were all so close, I knew separating you guys wouldn't be easy, then I realized that you guys would probably be safer if none of you had any memories of each other; and you now know that I have psychic abilities but I can also manipulate a person's mind. So before we all separated, …I decided to, ...well ...I decided to..." Director Stone spoke trying but finding it difficult to come clean about what he did in the past.
"You, ...you erased our memories of each other, didn't you." Justin accused as he picked up on what he was about to say.
"Yes, I did." Director Stone admitted while looking down at the floor.
"You did what?!" Chloe exclaimed, she was starting to get angry as well.
"But since you two are cousins, Sofia and I asked him to let you continue remembering each other but erase everything you two experienced together. So that way you two wouldn't be so close." Sarah added.
"Wait a minute, so you two were onboard with this?" Justin asked anger so evident in his tone.
"Yes, we were." Sofia answered.
"So you ...messed with our heads? our memories?" Max asked in disbelief.
"That's ...just not cool." Kade added, shaking his head at the adults.
"Yes, we thought you all would be safer that way, although Justin's father did tell us that fate would bring you kids back together. Even if I erased you're memories. I decided that it was a good idea that Justin and Chloe come back here but then I found out that you two made friends with Max and Kade. I didn't even know you two were back in town, that's when I realized that his father was right and that you really would eventually find each other again despite our efforts to keep you apart." Director Stone voiced.
"We're sorry about all of this but we did what was absolutely necessary to keep our children, to keep all of you." Director Stone continued.
"So that's why you kept me from seeing Justin and aunt Sarah isn't it? to keep us safe, and you made it look like you didn't care about them." Chloe asked her mother.
"Yes, pretending like I didn't care was especially hard." Sofia admitted.
"Well since you're already being honest with us, you mind telling us who the founding members are?" Justin asked.
"I'm sorry but I can't tell you that." Director Stone replied.
"I already know that you and mom are two of the members." Justin spoke with a shrug.
"What, but how?" Director Stone questioned.
"I overheard Jones mentioning that you're a founding member when he was talking to you, and that shadow guy mentioned that mom was a members when he captured me." Justin informed them.
"We might as well tell them about that now, they might find out about it eventually." Sarah suggested.
"The founding members refers to the group of people that founded the A.D.A. That group consisted of six people, Justin's father Joe was basically the founding father, it was his idea to start this organization before he started working for H.T.I., to deal with the kind of threats that you've been fighting lately. The other members are your mother and myself, Sofia, Chloe's father and my late wife." Director Stone revealed.
"Three of those people are already dead, and why is this guy trying to kill you guys?" Justin stated before asking the important question.
"We don't know, all we know is that he needs the cubes energy to create a super human army. The energy that he now has after extracting some of yours when he kidnapped you, and the second thing he needs for whatever he's planning to work is for the three of us to be dead. Luckily he only knows about Sarah and I being two of the three remaining members, he doesn't know about Sofia." Director Stone replied.
"So mom, you were apart of the A.D.A?, and so was dad before he died? and you kept it a secret from me?" Chloe addressed her mother in disappointment.
"Welcome to the club." Justin grumbled as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
"And this probably goes without saying but I still don't want you telling Amethyst about any of this, the less involved she is, the safer she'll be." Director Stone added.
"Yeah, yeah, I know, I won't say anything to her." Justin agreed reluctantly, since keeping all this a secret from her just didn't sit right with him.
"And that goes for you three as well." He continued.
"We understand." Chloe assured him.
"Sure, whatever." Max replied.
"Fine." Kade agreed.
Feelings of anger and betrayal were felt by Justin and his friends as there was a moment of silence since it was a lot to take in.
"Okay, so your powers, how'd you get them?" Justin asked Director Stone.
Before he could answer Justin's question, his alarm went off.
"Sorry but we're gonna have to continue this when I get back, I have to pick up Amethyst from the hospital and I'm already late." said Director Stone as he began preparing to leave.
Since they weren't going to get any more answers, Justin and his friends left the house, since none of them felt like being in the same room with them any longer.
"Well, …that went well." Sarah said sarcastically when the children were out of earshot.
"Yeah, Chloe's probably going to be angry at me for a while though, anyways I should probably go" Sofia replied.
"Okay, I'll see you later." Sarah replied as they hugged each other goodbye.
MEANWHILE
"I knew that whatever they told us wouldn't have been good but …erasing our memories is just whack." Kade reasoned as they were walking down the street.
"I know right, I can't believe them, and that my mom was in on it this whole time." Chloe started venting.
"Justin, you good man?" Max asked realizing that Justin was being weirdly calm and silent.
"I don't really know how to feel right now man." Justin replied.
Before the conversation could continue, Justin's phone started ringing, Justin took out the phone to see who was calling but it was an unknown number.
"Hello." Justin answered.
"Hi Justin, its Amethyst, I got your number from Chloe." she answered.
"Oh hi, um, what's up?" Justin asked.
"I was wondering if you could come to dinner this afternoon with me and my dad, you know, as a way of thanking you for saving me yesterday." Amethyst asked sweetly.
"Dinner?, with you …and your dad?" Justin asked confused and not in the mood to be around her father.
"Is that a no?" Amethyst asked, sounding a bit sad.
"Um ...yeah sure, I'll be there." Justin agreed.
"Okay great, I'll tell my dad when he comes to pick me up but I'll send you the Address in the mean time." Amethyst said happily.
"Okay, cool." Justin spoke as she hung up.
"Was that who I think it is?" Chloe asked with a grin on her face.
"No, wait, who do you think it is?" Justin asked.
"Amethyst." Chloe replied.
"Okay, yeah, it was her." Justin admitted.
"You're going on a date with Amethyst huh, nice." Max teased.
"Its not a date, she just wanted to thank me by inviting me to dinner." Justin explained.
"Sure thing kid." Max replied sarcastically while he and the others started laughing.
ELSEWHERE
"You wanted to see me sir?" said Otto as he walked into the room.
"Yes, we have a new volunteer." said the shadow man still sitting in the dark to conceal his identity.
"This is Aaron, now let's get to work, I've already had three failures today." He said as he was running low on patience, and human guinea pigs.
"Question, what kind of powers will I get, will it help me deal with cops cause I don't wanna go back to jail." Aaron spoke up.
"Once you go through this procedure, you will have abilities that one could only dream of, until now that is, not even the police would think to stand in your way ." Otto replied while he was opening the pod.
"Otto, did you make the necessary modifications to the pod like I requested?" the shadow man inquired as Aaron stepped inside.
"Yes sir, I installed the sonic emitters at each side of the pod, but I'm not sure of their purpose." Otto answered as he closed the pod door, locking Aaron inside.
"You'll see, activate the sonic emitters." He instructed.
Otto did as his boss instructed and activated the emitters, the emitters started blasting Aaron with sonic vibrational bursts which were causing him a great deal of pain.
"Set them to maximum output." He instructed.
"Okay, but he might not survive." Otto spoke.
"I know, if he's dies then we'll just go back to the drawing board." he said coldly.
"What?!, let me out, please." Aaron pleaded but he was ignored.
Otto set the emitters to maximum output and Aaron continued to scream in agony as the sonic blasts were starting to do internal damage.
"Now activate the injectors." The shadow man instructed.
Otto followed his instruction once again, the energy that they siphoned from Justin was injected inside Aaron. After waiting a minute they released Aaron from the pod.
"Well, how do you feel?" Otto asked.
"I ...actually I feel okay now, so… what now?" Aaron asked not feeling much difference in himself aside from the ringing in his ears.
Otto then threw something at him hoping something would happen. Aaron lifted his hand to defend himself and a sonic blast was shot from that very hand, sending the object flying, it even made a hole in the wall.
Aaron was initially shocked but then lifted both hands and it happened again. In excitement over his new abilities, he kept shooting sonic blasts, each louder than the last. Feeling like a super hero from his childhood comics.
"Alright, alright, you can stop now." said Otto while covering his ears.
"Now that I have given you these gifts, I need you to do something for me." the shadow man spoke.
"Do you think he'll do any better than the last one, his wind ability was really powerful, I'm still surprised he lost." Otto voiced his concern.
"Yes it seems we under estimated the boy once again, but this time, I don't want him to be beaten, in fact, quite the opposite actually." said the shadow man.
Otto looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"Don't worry, you'll understand soon enough." He said as he explained to Aaron what he need him to do.
LATER THAT DAY
Justin arrived at the address that Amethyst sent him and knocked on the door.
"Hey Justin, you're just in time, come in." said Amethyst after she opened the door.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" asked Justin as he stepped into her house while noticing the bandages on her arm.
"Oh, I'm fine, it's not as bad as it looks, it could've been a lot worse if not for you." She reassured him.
"Hello Justin, its good to see you again." said Director Stone as he stretched out his hand to shake his.
"Hello sir." said Justin as he shook his hand and pretended everything was okay.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom and freshen up." said Amethyst as she went upstairs.
After Amethyst went upstairs, there was a minute of tense silence since Justin was still upset with Director Stone.
"I'm surprised that you agreed to have dinner with us after how angry you were with me this morning." Director Stone voiced.
"I'm still angry with you for taking our memories, and I'm angry at mom and aunt Sofia for lying to me my whole life." Justin explained, ensuring the man knew he was yet to be in the clear.
"If it would make it better, I could give all of you your memories back." said Director Stone.
"Really?" Justin asked in surprise.
"Yes, I can, the memories are still there, its just there ...locked away somewhere in your mind, and I have the key." Director Stone revealed as he tried to find an easier way to explain it.
"Fine, but that doesn't make up for what you did." Justin replied.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Amethyst asked as she came down the stairs.
"Oh….he was just asking me how I like it here so far since I just moved back here." Justin came up with something quickly.
"Its seems like you two are getting along well, that's good." Amethyst said not suspecting a thing.
"Yeah we are." Justin said as they went to a dinning room.
"Wow, …and the Oscar goes to…." Director Stone said under his breath as he followed them and sat around the table.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
After they finished eating dinner, Amethyst took Justin to the balcony.
"Is this another place you like to come and think, like the school's rooftop?" asked Justin.
"It is actually." She answered.
"And I take it I have your permission to be here too right?" Justin aske with a slight grin.
"Oh yeah you do, you now have my permission to be in my two favorite places, you should feel honored." Amethyst replied with a chuckle.
"Is that so?" said Justin as they both laughed.
"So ...are you still going to the dance next week?" Justin asked.
"Of course, I was in charge of planning it so it would be a waste if I didn't go, why? You worried that you won't get the dance that I promised you?" Amethyst teased with a grin on her face.
"What?, No, I wasn't thinking about that, not that I wouldn't want to dance with you but…." Justin started to ramble.
"Hey, calm down, I'm just teasing you." Amethyst laughed.
"Oh okay, you got me." said Justin as they laughed together.
"Wait, did you ask anyone to the dance?" Amethyst questioned.
"No, I didn't ask anyone." Justin replied.
"Why not?" Amethyst asked.
"Well, In case you haven't noticed, I'm basically a pariah, especially at school, so even if I wanted to ask anyone, I'm pretty sure they would've said no." Justin explained.
"Come on, I'm sure it's not that bad." said Amethyst.
Justin looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
"Okay, maybe it is that bad." Amethyst retracted her prior statement.
"I wouldn't even be going at all if you guys hadn't talked me into it." said Justin.
"I still don't think that that's fair, judging and villainizing because of something they think your father did." Amethyst sympathized.
"Yeah, but I'm used to it." Justin replied.
"Did you find out anything else that might prove that your dad's innocent?" Amethyst asked.
"Nothing helpful." said Justin with disappointment.
Justin and Amethyst talked on the balcony some more and were getting to know each other better, then to their surprise they saw no less than ten police cars drive pass the house with their sirens on which made it obvious that there's trouble somewhere.
Soon after, Justin's phone started ringing.
He took out his phone only to see an unknown number once again.
"Hello?" Justin answered it.
"Justin, its Jones, we have a problem that we need your help with." Jones spoke on the other end of the line.
"Sorry, but I'm not able to come to the phone right now but leave a message and I'll get back to you ...maybe." said Justin pretending to be a voice-mail recording.
"Justin I know its you so stop playing around." said Jones.
"Man, how did you even get my number?" Justin asked annoyed.
"From your mother, there's another metahuman causing a lot of trouble in West Harlem." Jones informed in an urgent tone.
"All those police cars were headed in that direction." Justin thought to himself.
"Our agents won't be able to get there in time and a lot of people could get hurt and your phone's GPS says your close enough."
"Sigh!, fine I'm going." Justin agreed reluctantly.
"Everything okay?" Amethyst asked. concerned.
"Yeah, I just have to go home, it's an emergency, but thanks for inviting me to dinner, it was good." Justin told her.
"Your welcome, it was the least I could do, I'll let my dad know that you have to go." said Amethyst.
"Thanks." Justin replied.
After Justin left their house, then he quickly searched for a place that he could change into his suit.
MEANWHILE IN HARLEM
"Get down on the ground and put your hands behind your head, NOW!" Captain Sting ordered Aaron while pointing his gun as they were surrounded by a few injured civilians, including his injured partner who was lying on the ground. There was also damaged property due to the use of Aaron's new powers, plus there were almost twenty police officers who had him surrounded with their guns drawn.
"Sorry Captain, but things won't be like the last time you caught me." said Aaron as he shot at him with a sonic blast from his hand.
Captain Sting luckily hid behind his police cruiser to shield himself from his attack.
"Pretty cool huh." Aaron spoke as a smirk form on his face.
"Screw it, everyone open fire." Captain Sting ordered ad they all opened fire on Aaron.
Aaron had lifted his hands and repelled all the bullets by shooting sonic blasts out of both hands simultaneously.
"Nice try, now it's my turn." said Aaron as he charged up both his hands with the sonic energy and struck the ground beneath him, sending a shockwave in all directions, pushing the officers away along with the police cars and anything in the surrounding area.
The shockwave also propelled a police car into the air and it was about to fall on top of Captain Sting. Not having time to move out of the way, he just closed his eyes, bracing himself for what's to come. The car was only inches away from crushing him when Justin flew in and pulled him out of the way before it hit the ground. When he finally opened his eyes he noticed that he was a few feet away from where he should've been crushed unaware that Justin intervened.
"Finally, it sure took you long enough." Aaron spoke.
"What?" Justin asked as he was floating in the air.
"I figured if I caused some trouble you'd show up eventually." Aaron continued.
"Who the heck are you?" Justin asked.
"Call me,…..Sonic." said Aaron coming up with a name for himself.
"And what could you possibly want with me?" Justin asked.
Without giving Justin an answer, he knocked him out of the air with a sonic blast. Justin landed on the ground very disoriented and his ears began to ring. He reached under his mask and touched his ears and when he looked at his hand he saw blood realizing that his ears were bleeding.
"Justin? Justin, can you hear me?, Justin?" Jones tried to call out to him over the comms in his mask but due to the damage done to his ears he was unable to hear him.
While Justin was writhing in pain, Aaron took advantage of the situation and unleashed a barrage of sonic blasts at Justin. Each blast was way over 185 decibels which is enough to kill a normal human.
Fortunately for Justin, a couple more police cars showed up on the scene which distracted Aaron long enough for him to retreat. While Aaron was dealing with police, Justin hid somewhere hoping his speed healing would kick in. Justin started coughing up blood in his hand because Aaron's attacks had done internal damage.
"Now where did you run off to?!" said Aaron realizing that Justin had escaped.
Aaron started blasting random things that Justin could've been hiding behind in an attempt to draw him out.
After Justin had started healing up and his sense of hearing came back, he started thinking of a way to beat him realizing he was very powerful and that he could be in big trouble if he got hit by another one of his attacks.
After formulating a plan to beat Aaron, he flew off to try and execute it. Unfortunately, Aaron noticed him flying off.
"And where do you think you're going?" Aaron asked as he aimed his hands at the ground and used his sonic blasts to propel himself in the air from rooftop to rooftop as he gave chase to Justin while trying to blast him in mid air simultaneously.
After chasing him through Harlem, Justin finally stopped at a building that was almost completely comprised of glass walls. Aaron also stopped at the building and went inside. He loved a good chase but he was glad Justin seemed to have grown tired.
"There no point in hiding, I know you're here." Aaron spoke in a mocking tone.
Suddenly, Aaron heard the door close behind him, when he turned around he realized that Justin had locked him in.
"Is this suppose to be some kind of trap? Do you really think these glass walls can hold me?" Aaron asked Justin.
"Actually, I do but you're more than welcome to try to get out." Justin replied.
Aaron used his powers to try and get out, feeling so confident that he would shatter this glass easily. To his surprise, not only did the glass not shatter, but they reflected the sound waves since it was acoustic glass. A type that was specifically made to reflect sound waves which was all apart of Justin's plan. Since it was an enclosed space, the sound waves kept bouncing back and forth as they hit Aaron over and over again causing him to scream in pain while covering his ears before finally being knocked unconscious.
"Justin, Justin, can you hear me?" Jones called out over the comms.
"Yeah, I can hear you now, well sort of." Justin answered.
"Are you okay, what's the situation?" Jones asked.
"Yeah, Besides the ringing in my ears, I'm okay, you should get a cell ready cause you're about to get a new tenant, and ah ...make sure it's sound proof." Justin advised.
HALF AN HOUR LATER AT THE A.D.A.
"Get this guy to his cell." Jones ordered the agents as they escorted a still unconscious Aaron, …or what they thought was an unconscious Aaron. None of them had realized he had regained consciousness.
Aaron subtly reached into his pockets and took out what seemed like mini drones that had tiny cameras attached to them and subtly released them one by one as they carried him through the A.D.A.
Not noticing what Aaron had done they encased his hands in something that would prevent sound from escaping which basically prevents his powers from working.
After they placed Aaron in his cell, he tried to use his powers to break free of his bonds. To his surprise, his powers wouldn't work and to make matters worse, his cell was also sound proof so he had no way of escaping which was not apart of the plan.
MEANWHILE
"Sir, It seems Aaron has failed as well sir." Otto informed the shadow man as he came to report that occurred.
"On the contrary, this was a success." the shadow man spoke smugly.
"How so, he was beaten, and captured." said Otto confused.
"Like I said before, his purpose was not to beat him, especially since the boy keeps surpassing our expectations." He said as he turned on the giant monitor in front of them.
"Sir, what is this?" Otto asked, noticing the surveillance on the screen. They could see and hear Justin, Jones and also all of the agents in the A.D.A without them being the wiser.
"Before Aaron left, I gave him mini drones with cameras attached to them as a contingency in case he was captured. Now I can see and hear and potentially know everything that they know, and with this, we can finally get the information we need to execute our plans." The shadow man explained.
With this shocking turn of events, it seemed that the this man in the shadows was finally a step ahead of Justin and his friends. It's like they were playing a game of chess,….and Justin was in checkmate.
